Thought this was a great price for what is included, ideal to blow away those post Christmas blues or to enjoy a Spring break in the country. I do like the feature where you can check the availability before you buy.

Whats Included

Overnight stay at the Hollin Hall Country House Hotel for 2 people in a double or twin ensuite room with TV, Wi-Fi + tea and coffee making facilities

Glass of Prosecco on arrival
Cream Tea
3 Course Dinner
Full Cooked Breakfast

Valid for stays until 30th Apr 2018.

Hotel

Situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park on landscaped grounds, the elegant Hollin Hall Hotel offers a delightful combination of modern and traditional design and warm, friendly service -it's the ideal place for a tranquil country break away with someone special.
Overlooking gardens and fields, the historic Hollin Hall Hotel sits on the outskirts of Bollington village, but within a five minute drive of Macclesfield Town centre. We have the comfort of the countryside and the convenience of a bustling market town on our doorstep.

A Tudor Gothic style building, built in 1870, this wonderful hotel is cosy, luxurious and unassuming all at the same time. Our friendly staff will go that extra mile to make your date a true relaxing experience.

You'll be greeted with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, before checking in to your double or twin en-suite, tastefully decorated and equipped with amenities including a TV, Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities. You and your lucky companion will also get to sample the food of the hotel’s new Head Chef Tom Hughes, with a delightful three-course meal served in the Ridge Restaurant on the first evening. Plus you'll also enjoy a delicious cream tea! Tuck into a scrumptious scones with clotted cream and jam, complete with a steaming pot of tea or coffee.

Area

When not basking in the luxury of the hotel, you’ll be able to explore the gorgeous Peak District, a hillwalker's haven, play 18 holes on one of the many surrounding golf courses or take a visit to the beautiful country towns of Whaley Bridge, Bakewell and Buxton. The Historic National Trust’s Lyme Park is a 20-minute drive or alternatively, a short drive the opposite way are the charming Cheshire market towns of Macclesfield and Knutsford.

Potentially a good deal but reviews (Tripadvisor) are very mixed. Maybe worth the risk as that's a very low price and some people were very happy. Looks like new owners are working hard to develop a somewhat run down hotel but they've a way to go yet? I'm considering it anyway.
"Edge of the Peak District" sounds better than "5 minutes from Macclesfield Town Centre"

ye like all the deals these Hotels are screaming out for business But some of them are also very good deals ye gotta give it a go. we did the Charles Cotton in Peaks last yr but was a 2 night deal and was Fab if this was a 2 night id go for this too but bit too far for the 1 night. Ta So
Some nice pubs in Bollington, and if you time it for the last Sunday of the month, there is a great market day in Macclesfield, which is 5 minutes away in the car.
