Lots of deals and breaks about for families at the moment but throught this would make a nice break for an anniversary or if you are lucky enough to have a babysitter. You book your dates now so no ringing to check the date you want and there is lots of availability still in August and for September. Valid up until 30th September and ALL the dates are priced at £99 not from.

You get a 1 night stay for 2 people in a double or twin room at Hollin Hall Country House Hotel in the Peak district with a cream tea served between 12 and 4pm, 3 course dinner at The Ridge restaurant with a glass of prosecco and a full English breakfast the next morning too.
I had a look on the hotels own website and the 3 course meal is usually £24.95 each so you are getting a cream tea, glass of prosecco, breakfast and your room for the night for £49.10 / £24.55 per person.

Lots to see and do around the hotel, Bakewell and Buxton are only a short drive away or you could visit the National Trust's Lyme Park which is 20 minutes away.

Took this deal when it was the Wowcher offer, all I'd say is dont expect much - tiny horrible rooms, tiny hotel and as there was a wedding on that day it was a nightmare as you felt like you were intruding - we left and went to a local pub.

Cream tea, not afternoon tea so its a cup of tea and a scone served in china cups that have seen better days.

Hotel is tired and shabby, as I say the rooms are tiny, painted stone, cardboard coverings, stains everywhere.

All in all not the best. I'd avoid and pay a bit more and stay somewhere a lot nicer.
I'd have gone for this if you hadn't mentioned prosecco.

You could always ask for a glass of black tower as a substitute - tell them you’re allergic to bubbles?!

We stayed there a few weeks ago and had a lovely view.........of a brick wall ! As would the other half dozen rooms on the ground floor on that side of the corridor .
False advertising - this hotel is not in the Peak District, it's in the Manchester commuter town of Bollington. Cold.
