Just checked and might give it a miss as showing £260+ to do that.

Might just buy a cheap banger and torch it when we get there.

Thanks anyway.

That sounds great... thanks
Does the one way mean I could collect it from near my home and drop it off to be collected in Cornwall a couple of days later?

Just space is getting so tight camping nowadays (even with a massive roof box and medium sized estate car) we will take 2 cars for the extra stuff (coming back with less as taking old kids clothes to leave down there).

Thanks.
I can't click on anything!

Surprised you didn't ask for their mother's maiden name & first pet name!

Also, do you leave the key under the mat or under the flowerpot?

Under the recycle bin
Maybe get charged excess for damage that you never caused on return. Trick of the trade adapted by a lot of car rental operators with competitive car rental prices in the market. I had quit my previous car rental job because my conscience never agreed with it. I'm not saying all are the same but just a heads up to be very careful.

I hire in Spain weekly and in the UK often from Easyrent. I take pictures of every mark on the car when I pick it up. Even though I have excess insurance I still try to make sure I never damage the cars I rent. Rental companies in Spain are notorious for cashing in on either extra insurance or charging for damage at exorbitant amounts.
It is genuine.
Most routes are to airports
I have booked Doncaster to Heathrow and Hayes to Birmingham airport.
You get 24h hire.
I will take a detailed video of the car before hiring, but have also paid £1.67 for excess insurance via moneymaxim.
We'll see how it goes.

I literally laughed out loud at this!!!
Sounds like a clever way for them to return/rebalance their fleet after one-way rentals, instead of paying fuel and wages for staff to drive cars around between locations, let customers pay you a quid and do it for you 😁

And if you get a scratch on it, pay for the respray!
Is this the worst paid job in the gig economy? You actually have to pay to work and will possibly get charged thousands!
Indeed, not a very well paid job. Hopefully a win win though.
The various companies have fleets of cars belonging/allocated to airports and they need the cars to be returned to their home bases. It is a days salary, petrol and return fare home for an employee to get it back to an airport.
