I can have a similar experience by emptying out my garden shed and taking a bed and some bedding in there.
> Please note: guests should bring their own bed and bedding

Bedding I can understand...but the bed too?!
Having to bring bed and bedding is not glamping by any stretch of the imagination.

Top tip: turn the cabin upside down and you've got yourself a ready built ark.
Booked this not realising about the bed/bedding and got a full refund off of groupon so fair play to them.
Hobbits go for free
was interested until i saw you have to bring your own bed. that won't fit in the car and if it does, we might as well sleep in the car!

The lack of photos inside the pods concerns me greatly. Could well be a garden shed set up

Lol I like Shropshire. I stayed at a YHA there a year ago to disconnect for a few days from the city and get a dose of nature. Very peaceful and tranquil

That was my first thought
Looks like the basic pods are empty Inside so you'll need a sleeping bag at least.
39960210-mw95s.jpgThey do seem to have furnished ones, but it doesn't seem these are on this offer.
Good value even without the bed putting a tent up would cost you around £15

Are they accessible
I stayed here with my partner last year for a couple of nights, took a blow up bed and a double sleeping bag that I had and really enjoyed it tbf, spent most of the time out walking and took Nintendo switch so played games and had drinks in the evening. There's a really nice pub on site too, the food was lovely and the time of year we went we were the only people in the restaurant which I kinda liked. Depends what you're looking for I guess.

Oh and the pods are identical to that picture someone posted, but if I remember correctly there was a standing lamp and a radiator and it had electricity

Update: just mentioned it to my partner again and it's a no from her, she didn't like sleeping on a blow up bed so check with the missus first 👀

Doesnt say anything about toilet or shower facilities. So assuming it doesnt have them although pub will have toilets but what about during the night? Couldn't stand staying anywhere without bathing facilities especially not for two days

I watched a programme about these once (not sure if it was in Shropshire) and it was a one cabin among all of them that you had to walk to and share with everyone else containing 1 shower and 1 toilet. A woman declined to stay there for that reason.

Do you know how long it would take to pump that bed up? And what if it deflates while you are asleep?!

You start off 18 inches off the ground and then when you wake up you're 6 inches off the ground as the damn thing has deflated. That's my experience of blow up beds anyway!

yes, but you will be in the middle of no where here so there will not be an electric socket inside the pod for you to pump the bed up. you will have to use one of these. by the time you finish peddling that, you will wish you had just brought the sleeping bags!
