9 people in a car. Cozy!

I would not reccomed this personally as a foot pasanger, to many criminals and the like fleecing and robbing the passagengers as they walk from the terminal to the town center of calais out of the watchfull eye of the staff in the terminal.

It's alright for passengers. How do you book as a passagenger anyway?

Absolute rubbish. Its perfectly safe to be a foot passenger. No one in their right mind would try walking to Calais town centre from the ferry terminal. You just get straight back on the next ferry with your booze and baccy.

LOL

You get the bus into Calais nobody would walk it unless you was stupid

At one time you didnt even have to get off the boat at calais. You could just stay on the boat and go straight back to Dover with your duty frees bought on the boat. Anyone know if you can still do this?

How on earth do you get 9 people in a car - even a 7 seater..... unless you're an illegal immigrant of course!!! lol

Credit card surcharge is £4

Thanks a lot for this!! Just booked for Wednesday.....I have never been before what do i need etc? Aghhh! Special items needed for the car?

So is this one way or return? I only need one way but I need Calais to Dover on the 8th or 9th of May would this be the best way to do it?

Absolute ballcocks! I did this the other year and no problems at all... Maybe they were scared of my gargantuan ex girlfriend, but other than a few peops sat on the railway track looking like they were waiting to stowaway... No probs whatsoever. And for all those amateurs referring to us as 'idiots who would walk it', actually its not that far, doesn't take that long, and is a pretty nice walk that keeps you on a budget and healthy too so you can get fattened up at the reetaurants when you get there!
For those not racist or afraid of adventure, i say enjoy it! And for a small price, make the b***dy most of it and leave sorry ass England for a day!

You idiot....

It was clearly a typo....

* Free wine voucher will be issued at the port when you check in with your vehicle, and the wine must be collected on your outward crossing

Hot regardless!!

Its called a Car Park Shopper trip and is usually only available around the Winter Holiday season.

Full of French people. I'd rather shave my balls and cover them in chilli than go back to that godforsaken place.

If you want to go somewhere worse than Calais just try Paris. 4 days of ridiculously expensive hell. Even got fined after we got off the train and was leaving the station (by the bloody thieving train staff) for throwing our tickets away. I hate the place with a passion.

Enjoy :-)

I've just called to see if you can book the return but just use one way but they have said no - you have to use both ways of the ticket - anyone got any experience of this?

I'm going to holland then driving down to paris then was going to use the return leg of this cheap ticket to get back to the UK.

It's £40 for a single and you have to agree a time but I can get a return using this offer for £15 and get any ferry upto midnight the day after the outward leg.

Am I stuck with having to get a single?

Here's an idea to make the most of this deal (especially if you smoke), take your car, get the earliest crossing possible and drive to Bruges, park in the train station for less than a fiver day and get the free shuttle bus into the centre. If you haven't been before, Bruges is a stunning city and well worth a day (or two) of anyone's time, take you camera, it'll be busy but it's worth the effort. On the way back nip into Adinkerke for your cheap baccy, take GBP cash to get the best prices in most of the baccy shops. Oh, one more thing, I often drive to Holland and Northern Germany from Calais and never used headlamp converters I just dialled my adjustable ones down a few notches (before I had lamps that were switch-able) and nobody ever flashed me.
