£1 Sale at Card Factory

Saw it in store and heard it on "Card Factory Radio" whilst I was in the shop.
The items I saw were mostly Mothers' Day stock - mugs, teddies, slippers.

They ran this last year and I picked up some cracking bargains but I imagine it will be different stock in every store

Card Factory cards are cheap quality cards, spend the little extra and buy a quality Hallmark card. Trust me, the recipient will appreciate it so much more.

There are decent cards in both, and tacky ones too.

Places like Card Factory offer decent prices unllike Hallmark that overcharge.

It's a card that will likely be thrown away within days, so what does it matter as long as you choose one suitable?

Personally, I skip cards for almost everybody as they're a waste of money. I wouldn't care if someone didn't buy me one, or if they bought me a cheap one (I like people saving money, or getting good deals, that's why we're here), but if I am receiving one, I'd like thought to have gone into it, and would prefer that over it being an expensive card.

Nonsense. Why come to a money-saving forum if you think this way? A real friend or loving family member should not want you wasting £3-£4 on a card which will be binned a day later. I'll tell you what they'd really appreciate much more than a card with a cliched pre-written message on it - £3-£4 worth of chocolate!
