£1 trolley tokens are usually, well, £1. Or 99p. So this is a bargain, to ensure you've never spent your last £1 and have to ask for change to get a trollley! Apparently also suitable for gym lockers

Will these work in car park ticket machines?

quality

Probably won't work in ticket machines as they check for things like composition of the coin and weight, and these tokens are obviously different to pound coins.

thanks op heat+

I tend to use pound coins, pointless keyring to carry round everywhere

These are good to put on the key ring with car keys - great for supermarket trolleys and at airports. Companies often give them out as freebies at conferences. Aldi are still making a big profit even at 25p!

Maybe I dunno, but not seen them cheaper

Have some heat - good find. Yes a pound coin seems to be a better idea - however I regularly empty my pockets of loose change and seem to be forever without a coin when I need one, thankfully I always carry a token on my keychain!

Hot deal for me. Thanks OP

I think that if you are advertising the shop then they should be free. same argument I have with shops that charge you for carrier bags e.g. Disney store. I make them turn them inside out. going to have good fun when the new legislation comes in on carrier bags.

Agree pointless.
Having to unclip token from key ring.

Good till the new £1 coin comes out in 2017 and all the locks change over for the new design

That's what I thought, but mine has been a life saver on many occasions, clipped to my car keys, so it is always with me whenever I go out.

Serious? Just take it off the key ring!

Lol you're right 2 years of trolleys for a huge 25p, what a rip off

Not saying it's a rip off, just a limited use

I knew a bloke called Jim Lockers

Oh, there are so many slots, you won't know where to begin.

This is why I shop at IOJA

Careful with using these in gym lockers, I've lost one in a locker before as it was too light to make the mechanism work properly and wouldn't drop out.

Care to elaborate what your 'good fun' consists of....?

I just keep mine in my pocket with my change, the clip is just a bulky nuisance if you already have a keyring

The only reason why I don't use my local Morrisons is because of the £1 coin needed for the trolley.

So it's nice of Aldi to encourage me to shop at Morrisons.

But you will still spend £££ on t-shirts etc with company names on. £45 for a footy shirt with an insurance company on.

A colleague of mine asked for one at Sainsburys customer services and was given it for free.

I had one free at sainsburys too and it's fits their trolleys without having to unclip it so very convenient

It'll be worth it for when they change the size of the £1 coin! They're hardly going to change all the trollies!!

Reminds me of the Swazi lilangeni scam!
