Poundland own brand, "Tool Box". It's not wireless - but it's a quid, so stop moaning.

I can only presume this is national but as always local stock will vary, this was in my local Canterbury store, Kent.

What is a wire?

Ding Dong

Why would a wired door bell require batteries? I mean the whole point of a wired doorbell is that it has a permanent connection to the electricity supply.

Having had useless wireless bells for years, batteries always going flat, interference from elsewhere, I recently went back to wired, and now it just works. I bought some wired bells from Amazon for about £6 each. They just ring, no silly electronic tunes.

Seen a wireless door bell in the range for around £1.60 yesterday among their cheap £1/£2 range if this helps

Wow, that is cheap! Whatever next... A £1 fish?

Whaha, I've seen it all now on HUKD. Someone moaning at the business model of Poundland.

i will have a look as the kids wanted a new 1 for their garden playhouse thanks for posting

I bought one as a temporarily replacement as ours recently broke. Its pretty loud but the noises it makes are annoying as hell, its not a 'ding dong' but more like every Christmas carol you can think of in door bell form, lasting like 30 seconds!

had this same one for a few years. it does play a random tune every time, including happy birthday though no christmas tune. pretty loud with a light. benefit of having a tune play is when visitors fail to press the bell long enough for it to warn you they're there...

Can someone explain how this is deal? They've had this tat in poundland for years.

HAHAHAHAHA love it
