Hiya, Is this a boost offer? Wouldn't it be cheaper to pay the £25 as £15 of club card can be tripled to £45 for a day or meal out.. Have I understood this right?. Thanks

No it's a regular/normal/standard offer.
Absolutely the "opportunity cost" of the £15 Clubcard you'd spend on the Railcard has to be taken into account - so IF you could use that £15 for something more valuable to you then clearly better to use for that.

Can I use this price to renew my existing one?

How long does this last?

Don't worry I found out!

24th August for anybody that is wondering

Just to let you know, if you're a full-time student you can get it even if you're older than 25, you just need a confirmation from the Uni.

Does this work on Oyster cards in London? Apparently it does.

yes I have mine linked to my oyster.

however you only get money off at peak times

It's a shame a minimum fare applies to these Is there anyway to find out how much you'd likely save?

Cold, any train journey is overpriced, railcard or not, and that's with the alternative being driving a type r Honda at 27mpg

You get money off at offpeak times.

You only need to get one of these railcards in Scotland when you are 19 as your Young Scot card gives you the same discounted off peak fare and it doesn't cost the kids anything as they get their card free at secondary school.

How does this works with oyster and or monthly zone cards like zone 1-2/1-6/2-6 for example?

Exact thing happened to me! Haven't used it in the last week so I could have waited.

RUGAAL this railcard only gives 1/3 off any off-peak fare, so will only work if you have an off-peak travelcard. Like you, I hoped this would save me a lot of money on my peak commute! Still, its useful to get your railcard 'linked' to your Oyster (by asking any underground ticket office -can't do it online) as this automatically deducts a 1/3 for off-peak travel at the weekend. Saves me a few quid every week to spend on more hukd things I dont need!

Cold, cheaper to drive even with this. Would rather spend on half a tank of diesel.

I don't have a car... insurance is too high and living in London is great for public transport.

so it's quite hot actually.
