Automatic renewal 12 months from start of policy

Probably worth a read of t&c to see if covered for recovery to destination of your choice or nearest garage (regardless of time of day), if there is a limit to recovery distance, if post-accident / incident recovery is included at no additional fee, if post-vandalism recovery is included. Then balance cost of included (or excluded) services against alternative providers.

Good price, just got a new car too so been looking around - always sceptical of something cheap and unrecognised when it's an emergency situation though!

Go for Green Flag recovery plus through quidco. Will cost you around £40 after cashback.

do they help with a flat tyre? My car has "roadside assistance" but do not help with flat tyre.

Thanks

Ref #5...... So you can't get help with flat tyre... 'Slash' and 'Tyre' were never really a good mix

you can cancel 8 weeks in advance before renewal....

at work, so can't open the link yet; is this on specific car or person specific( like the Autoaid cover) ?

P.S : found the answer :- Covers one named vehicle.

Watch out for these clauses:

1. Should the vehicle be repaired at the roadside with a temporary fix, allowing you to continue your journey, you will be advised to seek immediate attention at a garage for a permanent repair. If you then subsequently breakdown with the perceived fault being related to the original call out, our operative may take credit or debit card details and store on file, until such time that we receive evidence of the original fault having been redressed. In the event of the initial advice having been ignored, or failure to supply evidence when requested, you will be charged for the second call out on the details supplied.

2. At the point of breakdown one of our operatives will advise you that if you cancel the callout, and a recovery operative has already been dispatched, you will be charged £98.40 accordingly.

Nationwide should cover it fine if you have euro breakdown, no reason to get more. Section 3.

You get what you pay for I'm afraid. Phoned them up for recovery, the lady was so rude on the phone.. my car breaking down seemed a big inconvenience for her. Will pay a bit more for better service next time.
