I was waiting till I received my licence before posting but I hadn't read the line above

Well my advice would be just to do it, if you qualify, you've got nothing to lose
Got it. Just waiting for the license to be acquired. I spent $29 earlier this year, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Not sure I will get it as I haven't bought anything for 8 months. But worth a shot. Thanks
Been a while since I bought a vpn from stacksocial but thought I'd give this a go anyway. Thanks OP
I watch this free already anyway but gave it a go to give the code to someone else lol
Says my license is being acquired.
In the above it says 'a single transaction of over $25', but elsewhere it says 'spent $25 or more', I'm not sure I qualify but they sent me the email, so perhaps I do, anyway worth trying.

I would hahaha

I can't seem to access Hulu. No matter what I try with my Nord VPN etc. Keeps asking for a US bank card and address etc.
Anyone know how long it takes for the code to be acquired?

We had no problem with a curve card and Keepsolid VPN.

Well it would wouldn't it. The ip address of your remote server should be in the US range. So it should think you're in the US.
Only spent $24

I'm genuinely interested, lol, please feel free to educate us?. :-)
This is not technically a freebie, as a prior purchase is obviously required from you first, etc?, lol.

It is to those who qualify.
If you are a student you qualify for reduced or free software (for instance)
If you are a NHS/Coastcard/RNLI/Police/Fireservice or Armed Forces Worker you qualify for 20% off at Iceland

Well they have our email addresses, so it may be they won't give them to people in the UK
Sorry, I am interested in Hulu for $25, I do not know what Stacksocial is but don't mind waiting for the hulu sub. Can someone tell me if I can make a purchase now for the Hulu offer? I am not a student nor civil services.

Appreciated!
Anyone got one going spare I'd be Interested too
Good for people who live in US but for me being in UK Netflix is just fine.

Got myself a VPN recently so keen to make use of it. Didn't get to use it for the original use case.

Is it ad free? Can you get a years free membership. Hulu should show American content as you have to connect via a VPN. Netflix should also if you use a good VPN correctly

Use amazon pay or use roku pay if you have a roku or amazon device.
I used to pay Hulu even though I am in the UK with a revolut virtual top-up card. Last time I checked, they needed location access otherwise it didn't work.

And all you in the UK, it won't work unless you spoof your location with a location spoofer on your phone/PCs.

That's only for live TV , just need DNS or VPN for normal streaming
Nuts .. clearly not eligible even though i have a stacksocial account

Fair play to all that, lol, thanx.

Well the rules say that you have to have bought something at/over $25 since 1st October 2019, so I suppose if you buy something of that value now then you may qualify by the time they get round to handing out the licences. Don't know whether this is right of course
I would wonder about it being a freebie but if you have met the stacksocial requirement, it would be rude not to!

For people having trouble connecting with their VPN. Check the support for your VPN. VPN companies and the GeoLocked streaming services are playing a constant game of adding new ip addresses unknown to the streaming services for streaming use. The Streaming Services eventually figure out the new ip addresses and ban them.

Best to find out the recommended way to get to Hulu on your subscribed VPN rather than face being bounced.

Just my 2 pence worth
