Hey @AppleJack85 hope you don't mind but I've been playing around with this - some dvd's are £11.40 each - Batman v's Robin is anyway. I added a few different types and use the code AUG10 and gave me 30p off so was £9.70 delivered but when I added a different selection it gave me £9.20 so worth having a play around with what you add and adding the code

Really, that genuinely surprises me how do people stand the low definition

I just want a good movie, plot, acting and sound.... high res is pointless IMHO without the rest.... if its a sh*te movie, its still sh*te in 4k!

Is it a kind of phish?
Great deal but the selection of movies is very poor. Better movies available in local Poundland.

I’m not sure “favourite” is the correct word there. Best seller maybe.

Fiesta’s are the UK’s most sold car.

There's an immediate correlation there in order of video quality.
Going by that; it's a minor miracle colour TV ever went mainstream, let alone widescreen/HD and up.

What about streaming? Which is probably over 50%
Possibly the worst selection of blu-rays. I wouldn't watch it if I was paid £10.

LOL 3D... that was 2005 mate...

The only blueray player i have is a ps4 and i dont think its ever played one.

Streaming is standard these days, you could watch all these for a tenner on netflix

Ah yes, I see what you mean; you're expecting a spin-off from the popular "Cowboys and Aliens" series.

Which is pretty insane. Blu-Ray has been mainstream for over 10 years.

At this rate I shouldn't expect regular 4K TV programs till 2030...
Most people don't have big enough TVs for 4k to make a difference. Seems like 32" is the standard, affordable size these days. Once TVs get bigger 4k will get more popular.

3D wasn't 2005. Bluray wasn't around until 2006. I'd imagine 3D Bluray sales are included in regular Bluray.

People don't feel the need to change honestly. We have to realise that being Bluray buyers we are always the minority. Im not sure 4K will ever be standard. Its too expensive and we still have many tv channels in SD only. I think 4K programming will stick to streaming. That is the future in any resolution.

it's like streaming but higher quality and usually cheaper.... apart from 4k DVDs which are silly expensive...

Some great DVD's for kids on there.

I concur. I watched “To Live and Die in LA” on DVD over the weekend, and it was better than watching majority of the movies I’ve seen in Blu-Ray/4K
Great price but the films are complete garbage.
A few of the Friends series are included, it's a pity they ain't all included, then you could've got the complete set for £10.

Looked at doing the same thing! Shame.

Still think it's a good deal nonetheless, heat

Industry publications. British Video Association reports.

Which also explains why, in particular to TV shows, that get released on both Blu-ray and DVD format, that after one or two seasons they switch to just DVD format, which I find annoying.

They just do, those on low incomes I bet have a dvd player or a games console they use to play dvds.

DVDs generally look better than 'HD' digital streaming content rented/bought from amazon/Google play etc.. Resolution isn't everything.....

Really? Can’t remember the last time I saw a TV smaller than a 40 inch
Got a few for kids to keep at my work so when they're "boooored" they won't be stealing my internet speed. Thanks op
