No, this is just regular Carling.

You've gone over half the month dry, and CARLING was the drink to tempt you away? oO

A good price for a bad beer! Buy Hey-Hoe! may get some.

That's Stella.

This beer is for chickens, that is why it is in the coop!oO

As anyone else found the deal before I pop out and get a few cans, thanks!?

Just phoned our local and they are £9.

£9 in mine too

I would imagine some fools still picked up the 4 pack.
I am constantly amazed at people rushing around in supermarkets and picking up one of their usual item when for example it's on BOGOF! Or picking up their usual size of item say 500g for £1.50, when the 1kg next to it is £1.75.
They must enjoy throwing their money away.

Or they must enjoy not throwing wasted food and drink away. Why pay for 1KG when you are only going to use 500g? THAT would be throwing your money away, you are then essentially paying £1.75 for 500g.

And you then have to buy double the ingredients, so unless everything else that you need for whatever you are making is on offer too, you are paying a lot more per portion.

Who is the fool now?

You appear to assume I was referring to baking or cooking etc. Perhaps I should clarify I meant primarily non perishable goods, such as lager! So you would buy a 500g box of cornflakes rather than a 1kg box for 25p more?

£9 at my coop but has now tv sport voucher

Any of them still have the nowtv offer on the wrapper? Only reason I would buy this!

Same question as kenzo. Any NowTV on these??

Great price for the uk's most popular beer.
Heat added.

Hahahahahaha

My local coop has no nearby competition , and is more expensive than Tesco , Sainsbury, Aldi ,Morrisons , Pound shop , 99 p shop , on just about everything . Even the Coops red sticker reduced stuff is more expensive .
Save for a cheese reduction price on here , they never seem to have the deals posted here that other Coops apparently have.
Needless to say they don't have 10 Carling at £4.96
It might be that they don't reduce in what they consider are wealthy areas . but people are not daft , they spend petrol to drive to the big four to shop.

Ups

they were 4.96 then 4.95 to clear short dated stock in some stores that had volume driven in for world cup and tour de france. I envisage them going back to full price tomorrow as short dated stock in my store has cleared. this was individual to stores depending on stock held and not a national promotion, and also had nothing to do with the areas affluence as my store is in an affluent area.
