This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Send 1p to a mate who doesn’t have a PayPal account

Ask them to sign up and link their bank account or card

When they spend or send £5+, we’ll send you both a tenner
Even better, you can do this with up to five friends, so you could get £50 for sending 1p to five friends (just don’t forget to remind them to send or spend at least £5). Ends 31 March. T&Cs apply.

I've had little success with paypal promotions previously.
how do you find your referral
link in paypal?
Their eBay fees have gone up! 30p +2.6%
So those who sold something for 99p there’s no point at all! Because eBay take 10% off too

Was relating to PayPal not the deal.
Of course it’s amazing deal and I wish I had it when I joined
Do you need to spend £5?

Those are the PayPal transaction fees she pointed out.

Is there any mention of this deal anywhere or do we just do it on faith?

I spoke to some staff in the know at Paypal a few months ago and they told me Paypal won't be with ebay for much longer... I knew that already, but what I found interesting was they told me Paypal has been working in the background to become the payment provider on Amazon instead. Their plan is to do that as soon as they leave ebay... Hmmm... It always bugs me that I can't use Paypal / Paypal Credit to pay for stuff on Amazon, so it would be great if this happens. I also hate the way Paypal is mandatory on ebay and their ebay fees are a joke.

I dont see paypal partnering with Amazon as thats unnecessary fees for Amazon and I'm sure everyone already trusts amazon and their customer service

Paypal are desperate for it to happen and they are doing everything to try and make it happen... I can't speak for Amazon. As an Amazon customer it really annoys the hell out of me that Paypal isn't an option when paying, so I think it would benefit Amazon customers massively if it happens, which should be an incentive for Amazon. They were saying they couldn't work with Amazon whilst being a payment provider for ebay, but that totally changes once they no longer provide services for ebay.
I think what PayPal are targeting is the Amazon sellers

I also speak to anonymous people who regularly tell me commercially sensitive information regarding large companies and organisations.

It is annoying that you can’t you your PayPal credit but amazon will lose out on gift card customers I think. PayPal already work with all these retailers online
I think what PayPal should do is work with supermarkets instead so we can use our credit on weekly shopping but not everyone has money in account lol. I never have done apart form £40

You can pay with your card now for buying things, although it still goes through Ebays paypal basically lol

Well, an anonymous senior person at Paypal (whom I may or may not know) did mention a while back that Paypal are actually working on launching a crypto offering.

Make of that what you will
Thanks op...
I don't trust these nit wits. Got shafted last time I signed up for their new customer promotion. Don't want to deal with these people again, can't be trusted to honour their promotions.

Hot if you can find someone who isn't a member
Wondering if u can make 2nd account with different email address under same name and attach different card....
Would this work if I recommend my wife to paypal who doesn't currently have one?
Do any of you guys listen to business wars, in there you'll find a series done on eBay vs PayPal

PayPal lets you have multiple accounts (Son has three). The actual t&c don't seem to Preclude referring someone who has an account already, using alternative email addresses and bank cards or accounts. Potentially multiple interlinked claims!
Signed up for this yesterday anyone know when you will receive your £10 ??
I'd like to know that, too. I signed my son to it on 5th Feb and he spent £20 that day via Paypal. No £10 incentive yet received by either of us.
Same here. I sent the invitation 1p to my dad and he bought something he needed for £16 via PayPal the next day, but no £10 reward in either of our accounts as yet...
Heads up, everyone! I received one of my £10's yesterday, after inviting both my OH and son to open PayPal accounts. No sign of the other yet, but looks like they are filtering through now.
Just got mine too^^
Can you send £5 and still recieve the £10?
