Anyone else having problems registering on their iPhones?
Doesn't let me select the categories.
The Halfords page sucks quite a bit. I had an issue selecting the categories on Chrome OS X, switched to Safari and it worked.
Voted cold.
It doesn't bloody work!!!
Reporting this for misleading deal.
Site is working and registering
Anyway link Google fit to Strava? Or any other way automating Strava?

I can't get it to work in either!

I'd setup a second Strava account and don't start or end your ride close to where you live.
Plus I'd setup a few additional accounts too with different email addresses to claim multiple vouchers
Once you've got the voucher, delete your accounts.
Get family members to walk into the store(s) with your vouchers.
anyone got this to work? i have deleted my previous strava account but tempted to set up another one to get this voucher if it actually works.

Try using Yahoo as a browser or going through the strava app and look for activities to sign up to. Yahoo worked ok for me but I agree the halfords site isn't great
from what i can see, you have to complete their challenges, instead of just riding 5x 30 minutes. Done a postcode search on . their page and i have to drive to almost most of them to then complete a challenge. Pointless!

"Then simply hop on your bike and ride for at least half an hour, five times in the month-long challenge period, to earn your voucher."

I see it as, ride anywhere, at least 30 minutes , 5 times.
Hopefully it will be, guess we will see when the challenge starts.
I'll give this a go
thx
Great deal, signed up seamlessly
Worked for me!
Terms are; you need to select from a set of fixed cycle routes, these seem to be England only based,

bs considering I’m in Glasgow would happily ride 5x 30minute sessions fs

You definitely do not need to cycle specific fixed routes.

You also don't actually need to ride 5x30 minutes sessions. You just need to reach 2hr30 total moving time, spread over at least 5 activities.
Worked fine for me. Challenge starts tomorrow apparently 😬
Can you do multiple sessions per day and do you have to notify someone that you've completed the sessions or is it automatic once the Halford/Strava accounts are synced?
Thank you.
update on this anyone? is it live and working and you don't need to choose any route or event, but just go merrily riding around to qualify?

Unsure.
I went for a ride today and split it into three 30 mins sections.
When I look on Strava, it shows the three separate rides and in the Halfords Pledge section, it shows (for example) 90 mins ridden out of the 2h 30mins needed on the progress bar.

If I log onto the Halfords website and check my progress, it says I don't have any activates.
So, yes it's works and no it's not working

I just created a second Strava account to test it out.
Once I've covered the 2h 30mins, I'll setup another account

If you haven't used Strava before, it's simple to use.
Just install it, create an account (made up name etc), the same with Halfords site.
Go to a location away your house. Switch on your phone's GPS and start recording your ride.
Ride at a slower pace than normal.
End the ride away from your house and press stop.
That's it.

let us know when you get to the £10 voucher and collect.
I completed the challenge today, with a second ride.
Strava and the Halfords site says I've done it. But the Halfords site still says 0 Activities.
So just to confirm splitting a long ride into 30 mins segments does count as multiple rides.

Also on the Halfords site, it says something like "look out for an email with the voucher". But doesn't say when.
I also completed today, so I have earned the badge. Though I think you have to at least 5 separate rides of at least 30 minutes or more to receive the voucher. I logged into the halford hub and it shows 0 completed activities but then underneath it says I’ve done two activities

Each ride needs to be set to be seen by Everyone. If it's set to Just me or Followers it wont work.
Its 2.5 hrs to get the badge filled in but its 5 separate rides to get the voucher. One 2.5 hr ride wont get the voucher unless you stopped and started strava 4 times
