10 hours of FIFA 17 and Battlefield 1 for £3.99 ea.com

Found 19th Sep 2016
Due to the time that these EA games are coming out if you buy EA access (Xbox One) or Origin Access (PC) on the 23rd of September and onwards you will get 10 hours of game time on 2 games (FIFA 17, Battlefield 1) as well as unlimited time on games such as Plants Vs Zombies 2, Need for Speed, Unravel, Battlefront etc. I don't like EA access but to me this deal seems too good to turn down.
If you don't want to deal with the hassle of cancelling then you can buy one month for £4.99 here electronicfirst.com/che…wcB

FIFA 17 US release- 27th September

FIFA 17 UK release- 29th September

Battlefield 1- 21st October

Hope this helps! This is my first deal so i hope i've done everything correct.

Titanfall 2 won't be part of EA Access

Sorry about that i thought titanfall 2 was a part of the deal as well still pretty good for fifa 17 and battlefield one though.

This is just one of the features of Access isn't it.

Original Poster

Yeah you can play all the unlimited time games as well which inlude some reasonably new games like Plants vs Zombies 2, Need for Speed etc. But the free trials to play early are what i think make £3.99 for this specific month worth it.

is the 1 month option definitely just 1 month? ive been tricked my MS/EA before with these subscriptions

Thinking of getting a 1 month pass for ea access, will this be the cheapest I can get it for :P

Original Poster

It's definitly one month only on xbox one for £3.99 and you can cancel online or if you don't want to risk it you can buy a code from any retailer selling it for £4.99.

Original Poster

I've left a link in the description for a code if you don't want to worry about getting caught in the subscription nonsense.

Cheers, I think I will just get the £3.99 one as it seems easy enough to cancel.

£19.99 for a year = £1.66 a month

It isn't the full version of FIFA 17 you'll get access to, its only a smaller part of it.

Did you read the story? its says:

The FIFA 17 release date for North America is September 27, with everyone in the UK having to until September 29 on Origin for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

That is, unless, you know about EA Sport’s other way of starting the game early. EA Access members on Xbox One and PC can try FIFA 17 before it’s released with a 10-hour Play First Trial starting September 22.

EA Access members also receive a 10 percent discount when they purchase a digital version of the game on Xbox Live, and Origin Access members get a 10 percent discount when they purchase the game through Origin.

However, unlike other years, players will only get access to Ultimate Team and a portion of the new single-player Journey mode.

There was no FUT on the demo.

New games don't go straight into the vault - normally 6-12 months after release

You get the demo's, but that's it from what I can see

Still, if you haven't played the games in the catalogue then this is a good deal, but not for the reasons stated by the OP

That's not true either as 'Unravel' was only the first level and not 10 hours of the full game.

are you playing it now and can confirm this? if not where are you getting this info from as it conflict's with other sources on the internet (see above)

When I last spoke to EA when had trouble with closed beta code I asked about EA Access because I wasn't sure if PC get the 10 hours and they said yes PC players will have 10 hours to full access of the game. Their words not mine

We're not talking a demo – get full access to the game for 10 hours and start building your FUT team five days before launch. And if you love it? Buy the game on Xbox One to save 10% with your EA Access membership, and also save 10% off the FIFA Points you need to score sweet FUT Packs. Plus all your save progress carries over to the full game, so you can pick up right where you left off!

I suppose we'll see on Thursday, it's just strange why certain websites are reporting it as only the FUT and a small part of the story mode is playable and not the full game

So as I said, not the full game then (_;) Only lasts a few hours and just after you're sent on loan to another club it finishes.

Edited by: "paulj48" 26th Sep 2016

It's similar with Battlefield 1, it lets you play the campaign until end of Act 1 but then you can play multiplayer as much as you like until the end of the trial.

I assume FIFA 17 is similar in that they'd still hope that people will buy the full game in order to finish the journey/campaign rather than speedrun through it all in the 10 hours ....I tried :'( lol.

Otherwise, it seems all features and modes are in there, just not the whole story mode or whatever.

Still... It's a great service for me personally as a new Xbox owner (I'm mainly a PlayStation user) and this was just the cherry on top and now, I'm pretty Goddamn tempted to actually buy BF1!
