gnice one op. get my prezzies from boots tomorrow then n might pick myself something up with the bonus

Does anyone know this stacks up for each £50 spent? i.e. would a single purchase of £300 accrue £60 worth of points?

I read the T&Cs but couponing is not my forte...

Could someone explain how spending the points work please? I have around £24 worth. I was told I couldn't use them as part payment or something?

Everything in Boots is so overpriced anyway.

If something costs £24.00 u can pay for it with your points. But if somethimg costs £25.00 u cant pay for it with your points as you havent got the full amount in points. 1 point=1p. Hope it helps

Thanks so if I bought a couple of different baby things, would it be ok if it came to £23 but not £25? Or does it have to be 1 item?

My understanding is the total transaction value has to be less than or equal to the number of points you have on your card. So in your case that would be fine.

that's right. You can't use what points you have to use as part payment but you can spend what you have or less. Hope that made sense?

If you have £X on your Advantage Card then at the checkout you can pay for any shopping bill total of up to £X using your Advantage Card instead of cash. It's pretty much the same as a gift card with the restriction that you can't use it and cash in the same transaction (i.e. cannot part-pay any total spend of > £X ) HTH

"A total of 1000 points will be added automatically to your Boots Advantage Card once and every time the £60 threshold has been met in a single transaction online, and every time the £50 threshold has been met in store"

Reading that, I would guess that you get the 1000 points for every £50/£60 you spend. At least online you could always add the stuff into your basket and see if it gives you the points, and if not, split it into several transactions

Just to add... since folk are questioning about points.... if you pay with points you do NOT receive any points. eg if you go in tomorrow and spend £50 worth of points you will not get £10 worth of points!

If there is a product deal awarding 100 advantage card points when you buy x - if you pay with your points you will not get those 100 points!

I asked the same question in Boots today. If you want to use your points you need to have enough to pay for your full purchase. So if item costs £23 use points but if item is £25 then you can't.

It is stackable it is £10 worth of points for every £50 spent e.g. If you spent £100 you get £20 worth of points

Just to confirm that I have done my online order this morning. £126 only came up with the one lot of 1000 points, so I split it into 2 orders and each order over £60 gave me the 1000 points.

Hope this helps :-)

Great, been waiting to order some electricals for ages, got quidco on top too!

Just tried this with a single BIG purchase, £299.99 - and it only came up to 2196 points (which is an extra 1,000 points over what you would normally get) - so it looks like the offer only works with multiples of £50/60 purchases.

The Boots website is truly abysmal - I'm always amazed when big companies like this can't be bothered sorting their online presence out.

It works out well if you're a Parenting Club member. £60 spent and £16 back in points (online). I always use these promotions to get Pampers, nappy creams etc. Btw pampers essential packs are 5 for £20 - not amazing, but better than average.

Great offer. Got 12000 points from this today.

X) great find

****, missed it!

I made a £300 purchase online (couldn't split it as it was one item!). Got my £10 point on the day, checked my account today and noticed that the points have stacked up (extra £40 of points).

Must have taken a while for them to stack up.
