thanks for the heat guys - obviously a smokin deal
10Kg of Coal for £2.99 oO seriously overpriced, I get 25kg for £5 here
Not bad for sealed bag coal, as we pay £14.20 for a bag of mixed ovoids (50kg) delivered so £2.84 for equivalent of this, ideal for those who don't use much but for us we get 2 through 100kg a week in winter.

Just realised this is standard coal which is much cheaper (can get it for about £8 - 50kg). Or dig our garden down about 3 foot and there is a 6 inch thick seam running through it as I found when making the garden over.

You are NOT supposed to eat it! oO

I'm pretty sure Santa will be bringing me sack loads of coal this Christmas so I won't be needing to buy any
Hot
Totally average price - plenty of places sell it for this and a fair bit less.

Google it, or look in the Yellow Pages (old skool!) - loads of coal suppliers in every area will have coal for less than this.
great price
cold from me much cheaper to buy it in larger 50kg bags from your coalman and the coal will be a better grade !

Yes but what about those who cant store 50kgs or have central heating and want the fire as a focal point and warming view rather than solely just for heat!

Sometimes the logic (or lack of) has to be questioned on this site ?
£5-£6 for a 25kg bag anywhere,so this is not hot at all!

We got ours on ebay, sometimes you will find an ex miner/family still getting their free allowance (they are supposed to notify if they go over to gas) especially Derbys/Notts areas

Ebay? So that would be 99p for 25kg and about £30 P&P? LOL

Seems to be a number of spoilers being posted - or is it just me?
If you just want a couple of bags it's an okay price. If you use coal all winter, you're not going to buy three bags at a time, you'll be getting a lot more. And if you're a regular coal user you'll know where the best price to buy in bulk is. Clue: it's not this deal.
can use for bbq?

Don't knock it unless you've tried it.

Calorific value applies to food and fuel.
Excellent deal, now i can dress up as Santa and hand them out to all the little scumbags as gifts at xmas....lol
