EDIT: Description doesn't match the product, it's actually a 0.3l dehumidifier, so a pretty rubbish deal, sorry!

I was looking for a dehumidifier with a reasonable tank size and this one came up, 10l extraction per day, 2.4l tank capacity. No humidity controls, just plug in and go.
Not sure if it's a pricing error or not as seems really cheap for the product.

Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. Reserved it for pickup at my local B&q. Thanks OP
Dessicant models are more better with higher efficiency but more expensive. This is a compressor
Anyone recommend a decent dessicant model. Are there any deals anyone like to share with decent warranty?

Which ever is cheapest with good warranty .
Bought a vax one last week from their flea Bay store with 20 percent voucher. Power extract 16 litre model. Came in at under £80.00 delivered.I would say it's the best I have had of any brand so far.I think the retail was £199.99.

Would this be any good for helping clothes dry?
I'm not sure the specs on this are correct. Compare it to this B&Q product page. Same dimensions, same model number, same wattage. But only 0.3L per day. I think this is a peltier dehumidifier and the specs are wrong.

Edit: Chinese wholesaler page.

Just noticed that myself, the description is from this diy.com/dep…prd
But the EAN on the "ready to collect" email is 3663602459255 which when googled is a 10l dehumidifier.

Thats what the description is for
So I just called and asked what it is I've bought, it is the 0.3l model, with a description from a totally different product at more that double the price. The woman on the phone was confused too, Apologies!
I just got a phone call from B&q and they are going to give me the 10 litre one for £53 so I am pretty happy.

Yes, but pretty expensive way to do it. Better to get a tumble dryer if you have the space.

Hmm after reading many comments on this site, I'm going to buy one for the purpose of drying clothes. Someone gave me advice saying buy a 12 litre one so you didn't have to empty the tank often, or something similar.

Well it will certainly help, and dry them faster than just hanging them, but not as quickly or efficiently as a tumble dryer
