Found 13th Aug 2013
Went to Poundland to get some camping gear for V Festival at the weekend.

I got this 10 Litre water carrier which I thought was good value.

I also got the following:
10 Tent Pegs (metal ones, just spares)
Enamel Mug
6 expanding cloths

They also had the tins that were on here, some enamel plates, different size ones, small enamel containers and folding rucksacks/pillows. See link.

Oh, just to say I've filled it up with water and there are no leaks.

could also be used as a shewee / hot water bottle combo?

Why would anybody buy a carrier, that very often leak. Go to a supermarket and buy 5 litres of water usually around £1 and hey presto you get a good quality water container for free.

Because this is 10 litres! It's small and compact and hopefully will last a bit longer than a plastic bottle from Tesco. :-)

Heat from me, thank you

The squeezy wind up torches are another essential! And the groundsheet is handy for sitting on between tents.

Hopefully Creamfields won't be a washout this year!

Never been Creamfields, but live nearby and drive near there for work. Last year was horrendous, it was actually like a river!

Was at Creamfields last year and people were actually swimming in the waist deep mud! Crazy weekend, never seen anything that muddy before! Hope we keep the warm weather for the rest of this year's festivals

flimsy, split and leak used to use them until I discovered the more ridged 5L water bottles at the supermarkets. Good to have 10L but no good when you get up in the morning and found its all leaked away!

These are good if you like a nice plastic taste to your water. :-(
They are also horrible to pour. Stick with a 5L bottle from the supermarket.

The squeezy torches are not worth it, not that bright and you have to keep pumping them. Better one to get (if you can find them) the small solar powered ones with a built in clip, lasts about an hour on a full charge.
