Can I buy a Mac @ £1000 and pay £100 per month ?

A lot of these interest free deals don't allow you to pay anything and they want you to take on the credit at the end of the interest free period.

Not voted either way.

Yes. Sometimes they do this directly. But I don't think they are currently so next best option!

Ive used Creation finance with Sony.co.uk to buy a laptop, it was 10 percent deposit and the rest to be paid every month, 12 months interest free. Was an easy enough process.

Young lady (apple rep) came bouncing over to me the other day at Currys all excited asking me was I thinking about buying an iPad. The look on her face when I said do Samsung make them was worth it!

Shame no iPhones.

Perhaps they may in time. Isn't there a currys - carphonewarehouse merger on the cards?

I can't believe people would take out a loan to buy these things! if you can't afford it don't buy it simple!

Voted cold because this is just an idiot tax...

It costs you less to buy it on 0% finance cos you pay the same amount but you earn interest on the money in your account instead of paying it in one go upfront and not earning any interest on it. Never understood why people have such an issue with 10 months interest free it's simply a way to spread the cost for nothing , what's wrong with that?

If you cant' afford it, don't buy it?

what are you thinking? coming in here, talking sense.....

Great offer if you are looking for Apple products.

I don't see why people get hung up about finance. As someone has already mentioned, it is an intelligent way to make a purchase if you don't want to splash out say £1000 all at once. As long as you can afford the repayments then who cares. I suppose those people buy their house out right also....... Oh no that's right, they have a mortgage!

My girlfriend's iMac is on its last legs, she needs a new computer but her bonus (for treats lol) doesn't come through until next January... this could be a perfect solution for her.

How is it idiot tax when there's no interest?

pay it before it ends like month before and the admin fee

Even better than that, and as an homage to your comedy genius, I am going to go into an Apple store tomorrow and tell the first person that asks if I need assistance, just how great Samsung are! It's going to be SOOOO funny!! Can you imagine their face?!

My other half works for Currys and we've had many an item (not just Apple) on 10 months interest free. You pay what you can upfront and the rest in 10 equal payments - no extra fees at all. It's called Take 10 or something.

It's not that we couldn't afford the stuff, we just didn't want to pay it all outright. Not seeing the problem...

Great deal. I will buy mac book pro (that I don't need) to get £100 hifi on 0% saving few quid lol

Also jumped into my iCar today, drove thorugh my iDriveway to my local Currys yes... Then a shop assistant approached me, saying: "I!?", so I replied "Yes indeed"! Then I chose my iProduct from the iShelves... An iPad and iMac caught my i. I then took the iFinance in the classic "iOu" way... But then finally, when my all-day iMayhem was supposed to climax, I got refused the freaking iCredit for I had iDebts, what a pain!!!

How about people can afford it.... and they would like the interest in their own bank account rather than the retailers.. because they're intelligent and know how to manage their money!! Only stupid people would not take an interest free deal and there are many of them out there unfortunatley.
