10 Night Mediterranean Cruise + Hotel + Flights + 23kg Baggage (Nov 2023) for Two = £602.34pp (£1204.68 total) @ Seascanner

About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Here's my crack at a bargain package holiday for two it's not the warmest time of year to be in the Med but if you value culture and sights over sun then this is excellent value imo.
Flights (Book directly on Easyjet):
Outbound 4th November 2023 (EZY8183)
London Gatwick 15:30 - Athens, Greece 21:10
£44.99pp (+£27.24pp for 23kg hold bag)
Inbound 15th November 2023 (EJU8066)
Barcelona 17:40 - London Gatwick 19:05
£29.99pp (+£27.24pp for 23kg hold bag)
Total for flights +23kg baggage: £133.34pp (mathematically it should be £129.46, but there's an extra £3.88 added to the basket total and no idea where it's coming from, feel free to enlighten me if you know )
Depending on your attitude to risk there's even cheaper inbound flights available earlier in the day (departing 12:20), but I'd personally not risk it for ~£7pp. You can also save money by sharing a 23kg case if you can make it work.

1-Night stay in Athens (Piraeus), Greece
4th-5th November 2023
There's plenty of excellent (and cheap) options but my pick would be the Phidias Piraeus Hotel (available on booking.com here), rated 4.5 on Tripadvisor (1757 reviews), 4.7 on Google (771 reviews) and 9.3 on Booking.com (4412 reviews).
It's located centrally in Piraeus and offers a FREE shuttle to both the cruise port and the pick-up point for the X96 airport bus.
A double or twin room will set you back just £38 with a Genius discount and booking via mobile (haven't done much digging on this as the price seems more than reasonable, may be able to get it even cheaper!).

10-Night Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Musica
Departs Athens 5th November, Arrives Barcelona 15th November
This cruise is an absolute bargain imo, only one sea day in the whole itinerary and 10 hours (8am-6pm) in every port!
Ports of call: Athens (Piraeus), Greece - Santorini, Greece - Mykonos, Greece - Valletta, Malta - Syracuse, Italy - Salerno (Amalfikusten), Italy - Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy - Genoa, Italy - Marseille, France - Barcelona, Spain.
An inside cabin will set you back £450pp, which includes food, entertainment, room service and gratuities (it's entirely possible to step off this ship without any additional spend). That's just £45pppd (anything under £50pppd is a steal).
I'm personally a real advocate for inside cabins because you rarely spend a lot of time in them (especially with such a port-heavy itinerary), and the lack of outside light means it's easier to get the room pitch black for sleep. If that's not for you then outside cabins (with a window) are £535pp and balcony cabins start at £714pp.
The real gem with this cruise is that the Premium Extra drinks package is just £110pp extra (£11/day) which is, frankly, insane. This includes all drinks up to €13/$15, which is absolutely everything you'd want (I sailed with MSC in December so I can personally vouch for the drinks package).
So that's £56 per person, per day, with drinks. Mad!

That's pretty much everything, sort your travel/parking at Gatwick, your transfer in Barcelona and your insurance and you're good to go

sorted byThe OPs price was for an IR1 room which are presumably now all booked.
Safe to book with them?
Recently, MSC has been doing a Solo deal where during Summer 22 through to the beginning of 23 they had 80% off the cost you pay for Solo supplement (versus paying for a 2nd person). Hopefully they will do this again for winter 23 so those of us going solo can also take advantage of this type of deal. (edited)
🏼 Heat added 🔥
Really want a family cruise from Spain in July if you find a good offer.
MSC do a really good job of getting you as close as possible to port entry.

for the experienced cruise passengers, how risky is it to arrive in Athens 4.5 hours before the cruise departs?
Far too risky most lines want to close check-in 2hr before sailing
This is one night hotel before the cruise should be fine
Well done OP great deal with the drinks it fits our dates.
Good hotel used that one and would use again.
(Ask about eating places great kebab place 2 min walk)
I would taxi from the airport you can get deals through transfer sites we paid £20
Not too far to the metro to get to central Athens add another day or 2.
BCN taxi is fixed price cruise to airport
Next cruise is a TA to South America could be a good add-on..
The actual deal is for the 10 day MSC med cruise. The OP only put in suggested flights from Gatwick. You can fly from wherever you like to meet the ship in Athens and return flight from Barcelona, as long as you're happy with the cost and flight timings.
Can't even select a cabin?
