Just thinking that not many people could have lidl where they live... then again i guess the same goes for poundland. ;-)

6 pepsi for a £1.00 in woolworths

The Nescafe isn't the normal one sold over here though, and tastes pretty bad. People keep buying it at work because it's cheap....taste it and you know why.

oh goody! I won a £10 voucher at the opening on the new preston store so plenty to buy with it!

I bought it for dp who enjoys a good cuppa in the morning. I deliberately transferred into the container without him seeing it. After a few weeks, I asked whether he noticed the difference and luckily he had not. I used to buy the normal Nescafe however am not sticking to this one for a £1.
Either they taste no different or he has cheap taste.

Is that the equivilent of a trolley dash?

I went into poundland with my sister once, she forgot we had walked in there, she kept saying to me 'i wander how much this is'? i kept saying a pound..a pound..a pound! she was like how do you know how much everything is - erm - poundland! You had to be there, it was funny!

what's big deal.. these are usual items sold in poundland aren't they?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Ritz

2 Litres of Robinson's orange or apple & blackcurrant diluting juice for £1 is also a steal.

Yup, it's usually something like Yemeni Nescafe and Russian Acquafresh on sale in Poundland. You get the impression that a lot of the groceries have been on worldwide tours.

I guess you don't drink much nescafe, or you are quite drawn to the awful after taste of "British" Nescafe? I have to drink it - it's all we get at work. :-(

By the look of it, this is supposed to be for the Brazilian market. I suspect it is their equivalent of the bottom of the coffee market, and it certainly isn't the best instant I have drunk. But just because it has foreign writing on it, doesn't make it bad. It's much better than the usual nonsense they serve up to the British consumer, and at roughly half the price.

Voted hot.
