27th birthday is next month :(. Going to be so gutted when I need to use the train
Same ongoing 10% discount for SENIOR railcard too - was due to end June... July... August... so maybe another ongoing/rolling offer.

Plus don't forget to check things like Tesco Clubcard Deals and (from memory) a PizzaExpress Summer promo for alternative potential savings with these cards.

I ended up buying a 3 year one as I am about to turn 24 so at least it will see me through till I'm just about 27 :).
Just bear in mind NUS11 is for NUS cardholder only.
If it works for you, great.
If it gets cancelled, don't blame anyone

Looks like the 16-year-olds will be the only Virgins left on the train network...

Ha! Really?!

What kind of discount do you get with these cards? Do you have to be a really regular train user? Never been sure if one would benefit me or not...

I do have an NUS card, but I didn't have to give the number during the order, don't see why it'd be cancelled?

It's a 34% discount on all rail fares.

So if you usually spend more than about £75 per year on trains, it will be worth it.

Kind of annoying you cant print off the order and take it to a station.
Im planning to travel on friday but it wont get to me before then

I've never done it personally, but apparently you can buy it at the station and travel the same say as you purchase it. See details here (scroll down to "At a staffed station ticket office").

Unfortunately you'll have to pay full price (£28), but you'll probably make up the £2.80 difference in saving on your fare.

if you are renewing a F&F railcard, try RENEWAL20 for 20% off, expires 2nd Sept
don't know if it'll work for other railcards?
Its had 10% off for about 2 years now!!
Don't forget, if you're a student, you can get a free railcard every year if you open a Natwest account

& only if your fare is over £12 (£12 minimum Fare) on trains before 10am & not valid against weekly/ monthly tickets, so useless if you need it to get to college etc.

Thanks Korky69.
Just remember its got a minimum fare of £12 before 10am monday-friday (except July/August + BH) so if planning use for short trips you won't see much/any benefit. except this the card can save you lots of money for a regular traveller.
This 10% off code has been around for years.

I believe the 10% or 11% (or both) can only be used for a 1 year one, not 3 year.

Thanks, that just worked for me

hunter0405 - I have an NUS card, but wasn't aware until seeing the above post that I could get a railcard discount with it.
