MMMM...I wonder why.

Finally shopping US style, long overdue... Lets kick s*** out of comets, currys, tescos, pc worlds ets

like its really going to last more than a few days!

the UK cant afford shopping US style, all the businesses inc Best Buy would go under, and its currently only a decent deal if you live near thurrock, cos Best buy only have that one store for now. it'll take them a long time to become a major competitor in the UK.

Shows how much we are being ripped off if Tesco, Comet etc can shave 10% off electricals because of this then they really aren't offering us their best prices normally.

God forbid any business make a profit!

this will be a one off to get customers away from best buy's opening offers and more often than not, the products will be making very little margin with a 10% discount.

with the exception of web only stores that have less overheads, I'd say Tesco, Comet, Currys were all as competitive as each other and everyone else.

thing is, it doesnt matter how cheap they make things, people will always want them cheaper and think they're being ripped off.

they'll always try to haggle or get stuff thrown in, ask for discount for cash (which is ridiculous to discount for one form of payment over another)

they all have price matching policies too.

so how you can say you're not being given the best deals.
for a business to be profitable, they need to earn profit, they cannot sell at neutral margin.

like i say, this will be one off as a response to bets buy's one off opening offers.
don't kid yourself that best buy's 2 or 3 stores will make a massive change to the price of electrical goods in the UK
