That’s great if your favourites are on Foodhub but just eat has more options. Foodhub seems to be very limited.

You can only use one code. Doesn’t allow you to input more than one.

Foodhub has maximum 20 restaurants in my area (including all offline). Just Eat has 173. Foodhub are cheaper but no reason to vote this cold as Just Eat actually have restaurants I would want to eat at. Foodhub in my area only have rubbish local takeaways such as chicken and chips

Yes I have less takeaways in my area. But I usually use just eat but atm they have offers what beat them by a huge margin. 10% off plus 50p charge means you will save £1 off £10 spend plus pay 50p so only saving you 50p.
Where as Foodhub has 10% off my takeaway plus I used £5 off on each account, so saving more plus the new code Push3 for £3 off £7 spend

I know Foodhub currently have a discount and it is cheaper, but that is no reason to vote cold a Just Eat deal as some would still rather choose Just Eat for restaurants not available on Foodhub. This deal is the best publicly available discount for Just Eat so shouldn't be cold.

Don't get me wrong, I wish I could use Foodhub deal but there is nothing appetising on there for me. I have wanted to avoid 50p service charge for ages. I barely use Just Eat now, mainly Uber Eats or Deliveroo.

It was a simple way to get around the law preventing companies from charging for a credit card transaction.

Simply rename it to 'service charge' and charge people even when they pay cash too.
Thanks for posting @TeaPot91 we have added this thread to the Highlights pages
Halifax has an additional 10% if you check their cashback offers (account specific?)
Dammit just ordered yesterday!!
Mine just got cancelled and I cant use the code. The CS on the app is saying the restaurant is not accepting the code. A bit confused...
Used, my belly thanks you!
I'm not being glib, but why would you order on the internet when you can dial on the phone taking like 30 seconds? Genuine question. My local pizza place charges more on just eat and I believe there's an extra surcharge from just eat for 50p. On another occasion I ordered a donner kebab that came with no salad or sauce. Just bread and meat. There was no option to add these. Honestly, what is the advantage/convenience? Am I missing something?

It is more convenient. No need to speak to someone when you are in a bad mood. If you call a place up you are bound to get either a bad/noisy line or a person with an accent difficult to understand. If you order online you can take as much time as you want to order, better for larger families. This also irons out any mistakes made in the ordering process (restaurant will receive the full order, staff on phone sometimes miss things you say or don't understand). Plus if you order with a service that uses the delivery company's couriers, you can get live order tracking in the app which is so convenient.

How do you get £5 off £10 spend lovely?
Cold.

You save more by ordering direct from takeaways as the prices on justeat are jacked up.
Nice
Hottest deal of the day with 920° heat? That's the lowest it's been in a long while.

Yes it’s true but Foodhub is upcoming game player in this market and soon it will have many more restaurants/takeaways available in many areas like just eat because it is financially better for the customer and seller. This week I’ve already ordered twice via Foodhub and luckily may fav takeaway is with Foodhub and saved over £11 compared to just eat.

You can pay by card on Justeat. I don’t keep any cash at home. I pay everything by card so cannot phone the takeaway and I hate talking on the phone so wouldn’t do it anyway.

Perfect answer to the annoying "why don't you phone the takeaway and save more money"...
10% just about covers the "Service Charge"
