This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Announced on Tuesday, the new LEGO Harry Potter sets are up for pre-order at multiple retailers. Available 1st June.

Waterstones currently have 10% off a spend over £50 with code STAYIN10, expiring today - this includes these new sets, so this is the cheapest price if you want to pre-order! There's two sets that meet this criteria or you can combine some smaller sets into one order.

They also have 10% student discount all year round with UNIDAYS.

They'll almost certainly be cheaper further down the line after release if you shop around but this is a good option if you want to pre-order a set.

Free delivery on orders over £20.

The new LEGO Harry Potter sets are:
  • 75966 Hogwarts Room of Requirement - £17.99 £16.19
  • 75967 Forbidden Forest: Umbridge’s Encounter - £24.99 £22.49
  • 75968 4 Privet Drive - £64.99 £58.49
  • 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower £89.99 £80.99
  • 75979 Hedwig £34.99 £31.49
  • N.B. 75980 Attack on The Burrow is only available at LEGO Shop at the moment so is not included.

Good finding. Thanks
Good for early buyers! I will wait for 20% off since I have too much Lego. Hoping the Burrow set will come to Smyths
Or 15% off with Blue Light Card
Waterstones are never particularly cheap, even with a 10% discount (it still requires you to spend over £50 anyway)

your posting the prices with the 10% off but you still need to of spent the £50 to get this unless your a student

Top cashback also tracks for potential additional 6% cashback. This may get cancelled though but is worth a try!

As excited as I am I'll be waiting for 20-30% too expect the Burrow will come to all places eventually, I think it's a retailer exclusive in the US so that's probably why it's not elsewhere straight away. In fact it's not even on pre-order at Lego Shop yet.

Absolutely, this is 10% off RRP so I understand why you'd consider this a not good deal. Hence why I didn't post any of 2018/19's sets. But I doubt you'll get a pre-order any cheaper and some people are excited to get their hands on these

Absolutely, I think I got cashback using student discount once so will probably work

10% is better than nothing for a pre-order, am tempted to go for the Privet drive set now. Thanks OP

I've had the quidditch set stored for over a year never finding a time to do it.... Just completed it today now I've got the lego bug again but like yourself will wait for the 20% or 3 for 2 offers to come along!

Really want the Knight bus £30 is cheapest I've seen atm but know I've seen it for like £25 or less at times... See how long I can last out before buying another set

I'm waiting for Knight Bus to come down to £20-25 too! It'll come back eventually. Told myself I need to buy all the 2018/19 ones first before getting any 2020 ones!
So with my calculations 5 harry potter sets
Lego £233 (1864 points £11 ish)
Other retailer £233 (10% off £23)
Doesn't pay to buy from lego

Absolutely, the 5% you get back in VIP points isn't usually worth it for retail sets like this. Once these sets have been out for a little while, 20-30% off will be a common occurence. However, if there is a GWP you want and/or a double points promotion it's sometimes worth it getting something from LEGO S@H.

Also some sets are LEGO exclusive - they may come to John Lewis after several months and then other retailers after several more months, or they may forever stay exlcusive to LEGO S@H.
