If he list the auction again (and refunds me the previous amount) can I use the code, so I would have it cheaper and does seller still receive same money? Or is there any reduction for him? Thank you.

No, seller probably used the £1 listing offer. If they list it again they lose 10% of the sale price in fees.
It's high tigh time they give us something back after nearly 20 years.

Just got to ride it.

You've lost just a little bit of respect from me for quoting the lyrics of a Ronan Keating song ....

Can get an iPhone pro from Argos for £977.95 with the code if someone is after one

Also Curry’s still have the std 11 for £656.10 as well which is pretty good.

Ebay has become DFS, constant sales. Facebook must be hitting them hard.

Yes but if he gets a refund the seller gets his fees refunded too. The seller wouldn’t incur 2 x PayPal fees.

Yeah but I still don't understand that, Curry's don't take the 10% hit eBay does, makes no sense just loses sales for them surely ?
Someone please suggest me something to buy :/ :/ :/
I know this'll get shot down as it's not good value to buy a Stainless Steel Apple watch.

However, if you are looking, AO are selling the brand new one on this deal, making it £724 instead of £800 (Plus 1% quidco). Only certain colours but I wanted the silver stainless steel in 44mm.

I was going to pay the full £800 so happy to save £76. :-)
Just picked up the latest Fitbit Versa 2 for £179.99 - Great deal considering they're still retailing the old one at around this price. Loads of new features makes it worth it in my opinion!

Fair point actually, he would be charged the fixed cost twice because that's not refunded, but that's only 20p so not really relevant and the 2.9% would be refunded.
Are the Currys iPhone 11s brand new unopened?

Same. Tried several items from different sellers that are not in the restricted categories but none are working. Looks like a seller specific promo pretending to be universal?

I know that 10% is better than nothing but we seem to be getting lower ebay discounts each month. Occasionally we get 20%, often we get 15% and now only 10%? Why hot?

So the code only applies to items through this link, and not any ebay seller? Viewing laptop section there, there is 9,000 results. Viewing normal laptop section 80,000 results.

I know it is rhetorical question..but can't resist answering..Yes they are making losses but it will be fraction of profit they make. Amazon sells lot of stuff at loss during promotions and with excellent customer service. ebay is getting lot of competition from etsy shpock depop facebook marketplace and their own free to list gumtree. ebay customer service is one of the worst.

Who said they are making losses? They could have agreements in place with these sellers, who are aware in advance and told to up their prices. When I enter laptop section through this promo home page it says on top ' currys_pcworld, argos, musicmagpi..' the code is not working with evey seller.

@msmyth Gift cards/vouchers are excluded also.

"The ‘Property’, ‘Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles’, ‘Gift Cards and Coupons’, ‘Gift Cards and Vouchers’ and ‘Coins, Banknotes & Bullion’ categories are always excluded."
