If he list the auction again (and refunds me the previous amount) can I use the code, so I would have it cheaper and does seller still receive same money? Or is there any reduction for him? Thank you.

No, seller probably used the £1 listing offer. If they list it again they lose 10% of the sale price in fees.
It's high tigh time they give us something back after nearly 20 years.

Thanks op. I've done 6 orders split between missus' and I's two accounts (3 each) and saved about £220 for things we needed. Much appreciated.

That's just plain wrong. Fraud. This is not in the spirit of HUKD

Another reply also suggested that it would be fraudulent and even went so far as to copy and paste a definition of fraud from a police website. The thing is that deception is an essential element of fraud and I don't see any deception in the scenario I was speculating about - if you think there is perhaps you could tell me where the deception lies?

I don't think there's any realistic danger of an attempt to prosecute someone for buying something from their spouse, though I did wonder whether eBay might interpret their T&Cs in such a way as to forbid it, notwithstanding that their shill bidding policy includes "People who know the seller – such as family members, flatmates, or employees – can't bid on that seller's items, but they can use options like Buy It Now that don't involve bidding."

Good luck because if eBay finds out and they most likely will they will block you, your family and your future kids accounts

Yes but if he gets a refund the seller gets his fees refunded too. The …Yes but if he gets a refund the seller gets his fees refunded too. The seller wouldn’t incur 2 x PayPal fees.

I think either PayPal or ebay want to change this so seller would lose fees. Not sure where i saw it but maybe someone with brains thought not a good idea.

If you still need to know, the answer is yes, but the offer needs to be …If you still need to know, the answer is yes, but the offer needs to be accepted in time so that you can pay by midnight tonight (28th) while the code is still active. So, to hurry things up if necessary, I'd also strongly recommend to contact the seller(s) separately & politely request them to either accept or reject your offer by say 11pm tonight. If they don't by 11pm, cancel your offer - because if they accept &/or you pay after the code has expired you will not get the 10% discount. If the above is not clear in any way, reply to my post for clarification.

Yeah, all clear etc and worked fine. Offer made, accepted, collected and paid with savings of £75

Well you should learn not to go round being a total **** then. Very sad that you followed me on every thread you could find to post nasty comments like you did. You give it out but cry the second someone gives it back. You're a sad troll and coward. Don't post nasty comments unless you can take them back
