I've been using these for about 1 year and needed some for my kitchen and kept an eye out for them cheap and they just came up cheaper than anywhere else. They are normally about £4 elsewhere and other brands are more expensive. They are nice and bright and you can buy in smaller quantities too. Works out at £1.99 per bulb.

limited info here, how many for the price and perhaps wattage etc might get more heat

4w input. 50w output.

4w input. 50w output.

Scientifically impossible. You mean 4w with the equivalent brightness of a 50w bulb.

Why would anyone want a 4200k bulb in their house? If you want your house to look like a hospital surgery room then fair enough

Apologies on my part. The output is actually 380 lumens with a colour temperature of 4200k which is the equivalent to a 50w halogen.

A good price but a very white light at 4.2k

+1 great price

Lumens is the light output, 4.2k is the colour temperature.

I wouldn't buy these bulbs myself, I don't think they're bright enough. Look for 7w 540 lumen Gu10's - bright enough even to use in rooms where bright lights are important, like in the kitchen.

So they are not bathed in disgusting orange light like we have been all our lives so far lol

heat. 2 quid for a brigh led is good. Thanks op x

I found you have to be careful who you buy LED's from. The quality and life span varies considerably.
I bought some amazing one from eBay I think the seller was lumistron. The quality of their LEDs was amazing compared to the crap I bought in the past.
Over a years use in a business environment and no failures from the 50 bulbs I bought.
I have no association with the seller I'm not even sure I'd spelt the name correct

Sounds like a good deal, and reminded me I wanted to change my light bulbs. Got the warm white version of this. Hope it's good.

You want to buy something better than a bulb from pound shop then.

It's not just that, 4200k is a very very cold and clinical light.

light coming through the window is 5000k+ so dont understand what people are going on about saying they are too white.

I strongly feel the need to make people aware of cheap ebay led spotlight bulbs, a must watch !!!
