Welcome to HUKD!

This is a very old offer , it has been going since Virgin took over NTL ,i have had the offer for over a year.

Alternately you can get it free and be paid a fiver from quidco.

shop.carphonewarehouse.com/pay…Y=N

You also have the choice of packages - but 200mins and texts free is never going to win over 300 of each free! :-D

Really a far better deal, as you save sixty quid and get a fiver back, and at the end of the six months - do it again. :whistling: or alternately - opt for the above offer then and it only cost you 55 quid for the year instead of 120!

Also Virgin offer customers 100 mins and 100 texts for a tenner a month but they give you a free handset too

Either the Samsug J600 (Blue or black)

Nokia 6300

Sony Ericsson W610i

or the LG Shine

Theyy also rollover unused minutes for 1 month

Once again.

I am VM customer but still took CPW's 300min 300txt cashback deal as at the end its 100% free.

i am a virgin media customer and took this offer up about 5 months ago the best thing about it is any mins or texts you dont use are rolled over to your next months balance and the mins are for any network.

true roll over is great with VM

i just got this set up for my daughters phone only they wanted to go direct debit and i really didnt want another thing bleeding off my bank account so he set it up as payg with top up card same deal, and gave me £5 back as goodwill gesture lol.
be aware that if you use over the £10 300 text and 300 mins you will be charged normal rates and it will be taken from your bank account, i wanst originally told this last week when the sales called me, only found out after grilling the cs bloke just now.

got a good deal i reckon with cross network and roll over.

When you put in your account number it takes you to the next page which has details of the phones

I have had the VM deal for a while now and the main disapointment is the coverage up here in Scotland. It is far worse than O2 and Vodafone.

You can indeed transfer from one company to Virgin.

Also I was on this as a direct from Virgin £15 pm deal but changed to the VM £10pm deal without changing my number.

Excellent.. Ordered one today. Nice post

Hi guys,

I got an text message saying that I could pass this on to family and friends, didnt say this was limited to virgin phone people only....I'm a BT phone/Virgin broadband customer and I still qualify for this

Its a great offer and saved me a fortune, as long as you get a good signal

i dont think you can get a new phone on this, but if you can let me know, as i need one

Hi,

I think Im going to go for the carphone warehouse offer too but just have a couple of questions-

1)Is the deal cashback for the line rental so you pay £20 a month and at the end of the six months you have to apply for the cashback or do you not pay anything for 6 months and then start paying £20 a month thereafter.

2) Could I change my O2 phone number on to Virgin? If so how do i do this call O2 or call Virgin or both?

Sorry if this has been covered or is a stupid question but not too down with the mobile phone deals out there so want to know what Im getting myself in for before applying.

Cheers.

looking at the carphone warehouse website the details show that its £20 a month and then cash back redemption after you send your month six bill or printout

can someone please explain to me how even just the possibility of winning a cadburys cream egg, value 40p,(see freebies)
can be a hotter deal than a phone deal, backed by a massive airtime company, with a very good cashback reputation, that will save the average 300mins+300 texts user around £150 - £180 over 6 months?

i cant wait to hear it.

Yes I did , I had Pac my number from orange to Virgin PAYG while I decided what to do. I have done free 12 months deals for 4years, but decided the hassle was too much , and with companys like e2save were tightening up on their T&C went for this.

hi virgin gave me £200 credit which is the equivalent of 8 months line rental, each month @£25
also i am going for a free ds lite-rrp £100 and the black nokia 6300 which has a rrp £80
to some up, i get 8 months free, a ds lite, a new phone and keep my number!
i recommend u go for the 6 months free deal as virgin will more than likely give you a good deal, they have excellent customer service, they phone back when requested and thats why they kept getting voted best network!!

plus no forms to send!

for £15 month & no hidden charges and a one off 99p for the sim, cancel anytime with 48 hours notice
ask for the "Liberty Sim":whistling:

150 any network anytime minutes
1000 text

tel: 08456000789

 Just to keep you all up to date. Got a text message from Virgin Mobile last week to say:

"from 28/4/08 mins and texts will not rollover".

Hope this helps
