I saw this in my inbox and while you were busy posting the deal, I was busy snapping up already less-than-face-value giftcards with 10% off

I disagree. Using the word "beaten" is accurate as that is how HUKD operates. They delete a deal posting, even if it was submitted only very slightly later, regardless of the quality or accuracy.

It shows a favouring of speed over quality, which potentially is a loss for us users.

Notice also that despite having 38 likes, his post is not featured in the "Top Comments" section....

That’s what I’m wondering/hoping

Yes it will. Go careful though....if the best offer is accepted OUTSIDE of the promotion, youll be committed to that price without the voucher. If it is accepted, make sure you pay inside of the promotion timetoo.

Best way to do best offer is to message the seller, agree the price and ask if they are in a position to accept the offer immediately. Do not just make an offer without knowing if they are available to accept first.

AGAIN?
Thanks, HEAT 🔥
Thanks OP. Just spotted the banner.

Few extra details:
Three coupon redemptions per registered user only.
Code should only work through the eBay phone app.
Perhaps mentioning it only works via app only may help. Also, link to eBay US, don't know why. What about expiring date and some description. Wanted to vote hot, but post needs more details.

Edit: noticed while typing others mentioned app only.

Just saw the banner. Nice find
Must resist! Nothing I was planning on buying but heat for a good deal!
Does anyone know if a best offer is accepted, will the code in app work to pay for it?
Ive managed to speak with a mod who has explained to me this deal, although lacking in information and with an incorrect link, was posted a few minutes before mine. It was stuck in moderation during my posting. So fair enough.

Annoying that there is this loop hole where you can spend good time posting a deal correctly, and you are still beaten by an incomplete deal with an incorrect link.....even more annoying when that same deal is moderated and approved for site posting, despite the issues.

Moral of the story...post any old thing up to get there first, and dont worry about the quality. Like mentioned before, by one of my fellow users, you snooze you lose.

However, i cannot be the only one who prefers quality sleep.

Excellent news for me, but not for my poor old Paypal account
Just had a best offer accepted and the offer worked no problem

Tried with black circles for tyres and not working just stays blank.
Sorry for the noob question, but will the code also work with auction wins?

Thanks

Beaten implies you see this as a competition. Does it really matter to you that much?

Yes providing you win the auction and pay before the offer ends (and it may be withdrawn at any time). Check that you can see “Take £17.50 (or whatever 10% is) off this item” on the page though, it’s only certain auctions.
Sitting trying to discount joycons. Mon spend £100. Whoops
It says minimum spend of £100. Tried it with less and it didn't work.

Yup, I'm not sure if there are specific keywords that get flagged - surely they're not reading each and every post? But hey, don't ever post anything that isn't 100% complimentary about their peppar experts - you'll get told off - I'd never dare do that on a community based setup like this...

perhaps they didn't want to spend 10 mins of their time checking out the deal, attaching images, t+c etc properly only to have it junked for a speedy crap post

I agree with you too, but he/she is right about one thing - annoying when you take the trouble & time to post something properly, but it gets pulled (for whatever reason).
Tried to check out with PayPal credit and it declined as couldn’t be paired with another voucher
