10 Permanent Marker Pen Assorted Colours £1 @ Poundland

Found 22nd Jul 2013
These are no sharpies but i bought some yesterday and am overly pleased with their quality.
I assumed they wouldn't work properly but turns out ink lasts a very long time (spent most of the day helping my daughter colour in her DT project with them) and they are still up and running.
Genuinely nice cheap felt tips so if you happen to go to your local pound shop i recommend picking them up.

I agree. Brought a box of 20 felt tips from Poundland. Lasted my whole university degree.

Been in Poundland more often than not for the last 10 years.

Thanks for the heads up on quality. I actually never took the gamble on these when seen them but now I know they're good I'll get a few packs for my niece

You've been a member over 6 years and never posted a single deal. What gives you the right to criticize my perfectly valid one?

Haha it surprises me how the people who have never even bothered to post a single deal are the most critical. You've been on here double the time i have yet i have posted just under 20 deals and you my friend a big fat 0. Try posting something and we'll see how hot that gets

I appreciate the £land posts as I don't look at everything and usually just get what I'm looking for or else I end up with all sorts ;-) And new things come in or the thing that went out of stock returns suddenly
Some are looking for a post to diss it seems, chill!

Great for tagging buses and trains.

Just imagine how much fun the kids will have writing on walls around their houses during the summer holiday. Also not everything is a pound in Poundlad as they do have bogof or reduced price items.

Thank you, I was planning to get some markers today (my little boy wants his plastercast coloured to look like a spiderman arm) will pick some up if they have them in my local store

might be okay for porous/absorbent surface, but smudges on smooth/shiny and sometimes won't dry
colour obviously not as vibrant as sharpie/american crafts
yes, its been around in £land for a few years

Edit: If you are buying to mark clothes, be warned the writing will smear and smudge (cloth reacts like a blotting paper with these markers)

Chill out.Just stating a fact.

azainah, I understand your frustration but stamfordblue and theworm have every right to post their comments.

You can't expect everyone to agree with you and your point about a member not posting a deal is totally irrelevant. The vast majority of members do not post deals and does not make them exempt from posting an opinion or comment that is not in line with your way of thinking. Don't take everything to heart.

I found these a bit hit and miss, about half my pack is ok, the other half it rubbish. For example, the dark blue one leaks and leaves blobs when you try and write with it, the light green on was dry in the packet and the red one fades really quickly. I don't find the writing lasts as long as a Sharpie, but then I don't find Sharpies to be permanent either, they just last a lot longer. The old fashioned ones that really stink last a bit longer than a Sharpie. I think I paid less than £1 for my 4 pack of Sharpies anyway, and they have lasted me well over 2 years not voted either way.

keep away from kids....all my door frames have green and pink lines

So the Blues leak, the Greens are dry, Red ones fade quickly and its not even worth mentioning the yellows - sounds like the next general election results. Who needs Paul the German octopus when we have the Poundland pens?!

Completely understand but your "fact" was (no effence) actually irrelevant as poundland stores nationwide have stock come and go and this was the time for these makers to come. Good deal for some but the time period it has been avalible shouldnt take away from the deal itself

I'm not saying they shouldn't post im just saying it's slightly hypocritical for them to start critizing my post without actually have posted anything themselves. I didn' t take anything to heart just saying my efforts should be noticed as i post my fair share of deals when they do not.

Here's a thought, with the black one in the pack, just write 'Sharpie' along the sides of the rest....

You will never look back and the kids won't get slagged off at school

Well he only just signed for City, so.....

Bought these over a year ago and they are still going strong, work really well on all surfaces that you might want to permanently mark! Great colours too.
