10 Piece Stacking Storage Box Set c/w Wall Bracket £4.99 @ Lidl from 22/8

I've wanted one of these for a while for my shed but not been prepared to spend the sort of money wanted for what are just small plastic boxes. This one is a snip at a fiver with a wall mounting bracket too. My shed might actually become tidy in the near future! Great for crafters, sewers (needle and thread, not poo!), lofts etc too.

Looks like a good price but all depends on how small those boxes are.

Annoyingly, CS don't have any more info than is on the website. They could forward a query to their product people but the answer would take 7-10 days to come back, by which time they're most likely be sold out!

I'd hope that the suggested uses for "nails, wall plugs, screws" gives a pretty good indication of the size. They're not going to be huge but should hold stuff of those sorts of sizes.

Looks decent enough and a good price.

What's the deal with Lidl though - will every store have some of these in stock? I've been to look for deals before and not found them in my local?

Contains: 1 x wall panel: 340 x 270 x 20mm, 3 x green boxes: 102 x 160 x 75mm, 6 x black boxes: 102 x 100 x 60mm

A better deal.

You can a 24 piece (includes small, med. and large) from CPC for £9.99.

It was on special offer, don't know if it still is, I got mine a few weeks ago.

The rear panel is strong and includes 16 screws/plugs.

will have to go to lidl for the first time in 10 years to get this.

Thank you! That's really helpful.

Thanks all for the heads up on the CPC one too - that's also a great buy, and with free delivery too. I'll have to measure where I've got battens in the shed and see which one fits best.

Theoretically, all the branches should get the things that go out in the newsletter I think. But, they don't get huge quantities usually and the things that are real bargains like this fly out the door. If you really want to get one of their deals, it's best to be there first thing on the morning they come in. I always do that on the plant offers. You can also do a postcode check on their website whether your local store will stock something advertised.

No. That's the cheaper looking one, they are red and blue.

This one. cpc.farnell.com/dur…mp;

If you get the CPC offers through the post, it was on the Tradesman August edition.

They also had the 44 draw steel organiser for £14, last time I bought one it was £22.

They have a good deal on a solder iron as well.

Could be just what I need to tidy up some space for work. Although think it would be better if all the boxes were the bigger size. Will have to pop in when I can on Thursday.

Hmm that one is 25pc...

Anyhoo they are both made by duratool so shouldnt be any less cheaper in build quality than your one.

The yellow one is cheaper, the red and blue are more wider. It's 24pcs, not counting the wall mount.

You are missing out... (this coming from an ex waitrose snob)

Sewed these to the inside of my raincoat, now I don't have to rummage for loose change ever again (as long as I'm wearing my coat)

What a handy chap you are. Do you clunk when you walk?

Couldn't get to Lidl yesterday but they still had these. The boxes are bigger than I thought they'd be, plenty big enough for plant labels, ties, seed packets and so on. Sorted!

Saw them today, agree they aren't that bad a size for the price.

Picked one of them up today despite my earlier worry about the side of the boxes. They are big enough but dont get carried away and put to much weight in them as the backing plate is plastic and wont take a lot to rip the box from its little securing slot.

No fixing screws included either which isn't a major problem but most things that require fixing kits come with them.

Still worth a fiver though.
