Love M&S, especially the meal deal. BUT my wife can cook all those sides far cheaper with fresh veg.
Cold. No Cauliflower Steak.
it is good to see that they are starting to offer different combinations to the usual main, side, dessert and wine.

the mains look pretty good in this deal. i am waiting for the main and 4 desserts offer to come round

The major benefit of some of these meal deals is not actually the price but rather the fact that you can just chuck the in the oven without worrying about spending all that time preparing, peeling and cleaning.

It’s to do with values, the sides are around £2.50/£3.00 so 4 of those plus the £7 main £17/£18 which is the same as the average dine in with a wine. 😊

I love these M&S deals, they should be more often. ;-)
Appreciation here, heat added.
Thanks.
I'm going to give this a miss, I got a "Pork leg joint with crackling" last week for £5 in M&S and think I can do my veg and spuds for less than a fiver, it was very nice btw though.

Great deal looks like that’s Sunday night sorted! 😁
Has anyone asked Jim Royle if the carrot crush is up to standards

How big is the chicken, I guess with all the sides it'd be alright for 2 people.

A good selection of mains and sides at a good price. Hopefully up to the usual M&S standard.

Obviously.
£3 for a joint or chicken in the meat market,
£1.50 for 3kg spuds on market.
£1 for 2 dozen yorkies (flour+eggs)
£3.50 on fresh veg from market.
£1 for bisto.
Bigger meal, all fresh ingredients, plus supporting local tradesman.

Now that's worth the tenner, but most people are too lazy to go round markets and expect everything prepacked and everything done for them.

This is why the councils are able to destroy all England's markets with little to no resistance :'(
Looks like a fleshlight.

literally just posted the same thing
Makes me think M&S read this forum, as I was only saying a few months ago the £10 deal has remained the same for years and it's boring now. Now they suddenly start doing new things.
33075081-xUeMQ.jpgThanks daffers
I think I prefer the regular one.

Three sides don't equate to a bottle of wine and a pudding to me. Veg is quick and easy to prepare, and cheap.

YES ! I agree totally, people are missing the point. Of course anyone can knock up the veg sides etc if they have the time to go shopping around, choosing and chopping, peeling and washing etc, but if you can make a selection of a good value meal for 2 - sometimes will even stretch to 3 - we're not big eaters - and just open the packages and put in the oven and open a decent bottle of wine then you can start to relax a little particularly after a hard day !
