If only I had a water pump.
Should last at least 1 go.

I've just loosened mine with WD40 and mole grips. Don't overdo the amount of force though.

May well do the job but before you start plan what you've do if it goes horribly wrong! .
Do you know where to turn your water off out in the street?
Take porkyone's advice and soak it in something for a while before you try - that could do it on its own if you're lucky.

Had two cheap sets of these for ten+years and only today told my son they are the most useful tool in my toolbox-you'll be amazed at the uses you find for them. These also have a one year guarantee!

Yes-last week changing water pump! But needed a sharp crack with hammer and chisel first as usual.

33496204-EeXCV.jpgHold the handle and try to loosen the nut arrowed quarter to half turn and work back and forwards (WD40) before trying to free handle as it scales round shaft. Then do handle but hold the centre of the handle if you can as the bars are easily broken off-from experience!
