Seems like a good price but I do not see any logic in running 10 sockets off one plug socket :O
Have two of these for my gaming set up. work perfectly and the stands work really well. Got these with some Cablox desk tidies. My floor is wire free!

Well, you easily need 6 to 8 socket for your entertainment room. I need it for my home office where I have two monitors attached to laptop, backup system, additional personal laptop, charging for nexus 7, mobile etc... (all these things I need on my desk), other things like Printer, Shredder etc are attached to other sockets as don't need near to me.

I mean from an amp point of view. For safety, you must only load upto 13 amps MAX on a extension lead. with 10 plugs going into one socket, you probably can only use it for ultra low power devices.

Yeah, we have to be careful about max amp usage, here is my calculation:
1. Monitor 1 = 0.6 (Hansol)
2. Monitor 2 =1.0 (Samsung)
3. Laptop 1 =2.5 (Dell)
4. Laptop 2 =1.5 (Asus)
5. Network Harddrive =0.65 (Buffallo)
6. Google Nexus 7 =0.3 (Asus)
7. Backup Hardrive =0.5 (Hitachi)
8. Router =0.45 (Sky)
9. Charger =0.15 (Nokia)

TOTAL =7.65 AMP
