I go on A friday and i agree about petrol.Morrisons is cheapest around here.
Asda and Sainsbury are 118.9p near me with most others being 120.9-123.9p or above. Morrisons is in the wrong direction so would probably cost as much in fuel as I would save.

Still the equivalent of, say, £1.30 off £30 of fuel isn't too bad.

No need to activate. Nectar card must be registered. Petrol included - 10 points per litre. (They always raise the price for bank holidays though...).

Cheapest in East Kent - luckily I visit Margate for work, and sometimes 8p a litre cheaper than Canterbury for diesel!
Fascinating
Can you put bank holiday weekend on the title?

Why is it odd to ask question's.
Had this messaged this morning. Sainsbury's here doesn't have petrol station, so I'll grab some points instore.
AND last 2 days of TU Clothing SALE overlaps with this, so another double bonus.
Anyone see Watchdog on TV yesterday? Showed Nectar card users who had lost been robbed of all their points (Nectar reimbursed them ...eventually. One guy it was over 200 quids worth of points, gone!

Upside given was that you should constantly CHECK your status. I always do. Probably almost daily.

I believe management for every Morrisons garage/store can set different fuel prices. Lower will obviously attract more people for the weekly/monthly shop.
Getting a tank full of the premium Shell or Bp etc now and again is supposed to be better for your engine. Has additives that protect the engine. No idea if its true though. Youd need to be an engineer and do detailed tests over time.

I wouldnt just believe what you read online now adays esp from or about large companies and its claims about it products.

Not sure if it's the management who set the prices but it certainly depends on the area. We have a BP garage near Asda (with a fuel station) and a Morrisons (with no fuel station). Asda is always the cheapest but BP is nearly always only a penny or twopence more. Other BP garages away from Asda are up to 4p more. I don't go to the Asda one because BP runs a 'card' that allows 2p OFF per litre but only on Sundays. So I fill up on Sundays. And get Nectar points as well, so even better. Who is that says 'every little helps?'

Lol nice. And their fuel will probably be better. Im guessing Asda only sell Asda branded fuel.

You need a 2nd mortgages these days to afford that premium stuff...
It needs to be 10x points given the rewards they (don't) give

I think it's always good to fill your tank with the premium fuels once in a while (you decide when is best) to clear out the cobwebs.
Makes the engine run smoother, be more responsive & reliable over time. So it theoretically saves you money. I can't say if you do get more mpg as I do lots of miles & economy is not my primary concern.

Same. The sainos and a Tesco are the only ones who get close to Costco over my daily 55 mile each way commute.
Sainsburys is cheap petrol - so great deal

But I can save more than that by shopping at Tesco, Asda, Aldi. Lidi
Nectar is getting worse.
No Spring double up at Sainsbury's this year, if there isn't a Winter one, they can ram it and I'll shop elsewhere.
Let's face it, Nectar=Sainsbury's now.
To clothing is available at Argos and Sainsbury

Yes, that's my point. It's like having a sale with 4.5% discount - how cold would that get? It's the 10 times that people get excited about, but in reality, it's a tiny benefit!

Not here in Glasgow (Braehead Sainsbury's is often the cheapest) and when I go on family visits to Scunthorpe (no jokes please) it's the cheapest there too. This is worth 5p off per litre so will be hard to beat.
