This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Amazon's "Performance Alkaline" AAs with 10 year shelf-life at, I think, cheapest price ever...?

Smaller packs availabe but with worse value of course although the 48 pack is under £9 so that's good value too.

Wow - that's a lot of poisonous landfill! Who needs that many disposables?

Battery powered shredder at Conservative HQ?
Another option is from CPC
for 100 of their Alkaline batteries at £14.22 delivered - they may be a more longer lasting battery as they're rated at 2600mAh. Part number BT0588607

Please please please don't put them in your bin. Most supermarkets and council recycling centres take batteries for recycling. I wish all battery tech was greener but it's all pretty grim e.g. lithium and cobalt mining/production. Hopefully carbon/organic/whatever else is here in time for the big move to leccy transport or we'll just be exchanging one huge environmental problem for another.

Disposables and rechargables are best suited to different applications. I have rechargables too.

As for quantity, I bought this to split among family, friends and work colleagues but there are much smaller packs or, yes, by all means buy rechargables if you wish and they suit your application better.

General post info: Shelf life on batteries I have is 05/2029 so not quite 10 years.
