Duracell Industrial batteries are quite poor IMO

Duracell industrial are good , the fact is most alkaline's perform much the same more or less, yes some are slightly better and some worse (I've had Halford alkaline batteries leak within their shelf life)

Just remember that store brands like Maplin, Halfords and poundland type shops might source different batteries and label them for their store so results could vary between batches. Also many well known brands like Phillips have licenced their name and used by whoever buys the rights, so with Phillips the batteries are made in China by Gibson (yes a division of the guitar company) Branded names like Duracell, Panasonic etc should be consistent but check that site link I gave, there are variations.
