christy towels

John Lewis £20 bale were similar quality to these and you got 6 towels for that money

shocking reviews beware!!!

£7 for huge egyptian cotton towels in Next

Despite the name, Christy England 1850 towels are made in India. They are not a patch on the towels that used to be made in Hyde near Manchester.

or £4 a bath towel in primark! same quality as the bhs ones!

I bought one of these & wasnt impressed at all nothing like other christy towels I have got. I ordered a christy towel from Next & it was as it should be for Christy towels thick & soft. The debenhams ones are very poor quality.

my mum worked in the christy factory in droylsden in the early 80s. and yes the quality was second to none. its a bloody tesco now

Go to asda and buy their luxery collection for less than a tenner. In fact other day they had a bath and hand towel reduced to a tenner. Obviously no good for the snobs who want to buy from an upmarket store but they are similar quality and probably made by the same people (e.g. slaves).

Totally agree, the "Made in England" towels are far superior. After years of buying Christy towels we buy ours elsewhere. Check out Dunhelm Mill, they have some nice ranges (made in Turkey lol)
