I find these plugs much more reliable than the standard Rawl plugs. This is a great deal in my opinion. Well worth stocking up at this price.

Also available are boxes of:

100off 8x40 @ £2.92

50off 10x50 @ £2.98

Next best price I could find was Toolstation at £1.50 more for the 6mm plugs.

Not for everyone this deal I know. Hope it helps out the relevant audience though.

Are you using 6,8 or 10mm? Or is that an intrusive query?

Are these 13amp?

Oh heck, if you are aspiring to be an electrician I sincerely hope it's just a phase you are going through.

So
The screw goes into
These? These don’t come with them
This is a great price for some top quality wall plugs. You will need screws to go with these.

I use from Toolstation, Code 29738 'Single Thread Countersunk Pozi Screw 4.0 x 40mm' at £2.19 for 200. Hope this helps.

Half the price of Screwfix, can't go wrong
Happened to see a lot of reductions in this range instore today. Personally preferred the Dial coach screws I got for 95p.
What size screws should be used with each of these boxes?

Great! Thanks. I was looking for the right size for 5mm screws. Looks like both the 6mm and 8mm plugs can use 5mm screws.

Excellent. Very happy to have helped.
I find these are better than Rawlplugs in block work. Rawlplugs are more reliable as an all rounder though IMO.

Both will work, but note that if you're going into a looser material like Thermalite then it's better to go for a tighter fit, so in this case 6mm plugs for 5mm screws.
I use them. Very good, reliables...

Thanks, and that makes sense. I've ordered a box of both 6mm and 8mm.

I have been installing cladding on my house which has involved screwing battens to the brick walls. I already have some fischer plugs which I've been using to great effect. These ones:

I'm running low on them now though. When I saw this post I thought I'd give them a go but wanted to check that the 6mm were designed for the 5mm screws that I've been using. Looks like I'll be good to go. Collecting tomorrow.
Good price for top brand plugs.

Hehehehe, the Deal initially baffled me too. :-D

I understand what you thought it was, lol, but you've hit a butt note (sorry, I mean wrong note). :-)

Lol.
Thanks
Great deal! Thank you OP! More stuff to fill the garage up with and will probably never get round to doing the DIY I always say I will(:I
Is it just me or did these used to be called rawl plugs?
Best wall plugs ever.

Just think of all the shelves you won't get around to putting up using theses plugs. You couldn't potentially store the rest of your hoard on them.

Cheers

Rawl are manufacturers of wall plugs. So yes. Like Hoover and Sellotape.

Aaaah. I thought the name of the product was rawl. But it’s just like how people call vacuum cleaners “hoovers”. Thank you. The more you know.
Very good price for all 3 sets. Thanks OP

If you are drilling into brick you can use the standard red plugs (much cheaper), these are for thermal blocks.
by the looks of the box I thought it was a knock-off version of Kit Kat found at Lidl.
What can these plugs actually be used on? Brick? Plasterboard? Wood? More infor please Heat added for it being a bargain
Prefer the UX... Are these on offer too?
Used two of the 6mm today and they've not fallen out of the wall yet
