Goose down duvets can be a bit of a mine field, but this caught my eye for several reasons: -

1. Is 100% Hungarian goose down (no feather content)

2. Fill-power of 750 (very good)

3. 300 thread count weave

4. Generous king size dimensions (7'7" x 7'3")

so tempted..
Fantastic price for a high quality item.
Ignore the cold voters they would not know quality even if a goose smacked them in the face.

I take your point. This is only my 2nd post and I froze on my 1st one too! I may have to change my name to Iceman. Either way, with the additional 6% cashback from TCB or Quidco I may have to treat my wife to one of these.
Too expensive for a duvet. It doesn't matter where your geese are from. Mine cost a tenner and it does a fine job. I just read your comment, and I hope my opinion doesn't deter you from posting any further deals in any way. Too much luxury for me. (not voting)

No problem, I'm ok with the cat's blanket thrown over me, but my Mrs is a completely different animal!

Hot for taking the time to post a quality item! Ignore the cold voting swine - they know not what they do!
i prefer norwegian goose duvets!
Right, my view. Goose down duvet is super super warm. I mean I went from a veyr high tog standard duvet to a simple 13.5tog goose duvet and don't bother with heating at night nowdays. It is very very warm. In addition, it actually feel quite nice as well. I bought mine from Aldi at £35 and bought the Pillows for £5 er each as well!! So this might be cold due to the price, but I have to say if it is anything like the goose down duvet I have, it will save you tons on heating and you get a much better nights sleep!!
My wife is a bit of a stickler for these things, and in this case I think she might be right. She paid a fortune for the goose down duvet we currently use, but she's had almost 20 years use of of it! It is only just starting to lose shape/warmth now, so she wants it replaced (although I think it's still ok). With minimal regular care, top quality duvets should have a life span of about 20yrs, and the very best can stretch to 30, so the price issue has to be taken in that context. More than anything though, sometimes it feels like you're sleeping without anything on top of you at all - the comfort and temp regulation is unbelievable. The better the quality of the filling, the lighter the duvet.

Duvets are like gas boilers: totally boring, but when you consider how much use/benefit you get from them over their lifespan, £-for-£ there are few better value products. This sort of quality/luxury for sub£10 a year? Absolute steal in my book...
