Damn you HUKD
I was looking for the Flamedeer and now look I’ve ended up buying a bloody Vax!
Just tried ours which arrived yesterday. Battery took 2hrs to fully charge and even on full boost was still going after 30mins with excellent pick up. On a par with the Dyson V6 but more agile.
The added lights are great for under the couch and under the coffee table so you don’t miss a spot. Super light and surprisingly effective. I was sceptical when I saw it was 18v battery but it certainly would give the 32v blade 2 max a run for it’s money! Keeping mine for sure!
Used mine today also. This is my first cordless vacuum so don't have anything to compare.
But managed to hoover 4 bedrooms, the front and living room mainly using the brushbar setting before it completely died on me.
Did try all settings. Boost is really powerful. Can't see needing to use that often, but does use up the battery much faster.
For the price and performance so far, most likely to be keeping it after a bit more testing/usage.
It could do with some extra tools. Shame they didn't include the toolkit for free. But for the price can't really complain.

I have a blade 2 max (40v)
And it’s better than my V8 Dyson
This is a blade 3 so I’m hoping it’s good, I’ve had a look at the specs no mention of the voltage power
As long as your getting 32v plus you can’t go wrong, anything below that and it’s going straight back
Just seen to the baby and came on here for a browse now ordered an Xmas present for myself. Amazing deal thank you
I'm confused - full price of this is £179.99... and full price of Blade 2 Max 40V is £249... That would suggest this isn't as good? Is this actually better than that?

No idea?
Specs don’t show the voltage
As before most of the bad reviews on the Vax handhelds are for the 24V machines which I personally wouldn’t bother with
IF this is a 32V il be keeping it if not going straight back

Agree
Hmmm - just noticed ALL other models being sold on their website come with a free Vax Toolkit... This one doesn't by the look of it - no mention of it... (...) Says the toolkit is worth £50

Also - I believe the battery shown is 20V... It has the same name, specs and pics as the one seen on Hoover's website HERE

I just bought this Hoover 3 months ago but now I’m tempted to order this Vax as it looks so much better!
This feels like a weird promo post
Didn't need a hoover but just bought it
Vax are the best ever, I have one it's so light weight for someone like me with injuries to use. Highly recommended
OP - how did you find out about this offer? It doesn't show at all (even as a model) when you click on Cordless Vacuum Cleaners on Vax's website... so am a bit confused. How did you suddenly know about this at 2.40AM? Do you work for Vax? If so, can you confirm if this comes with free toolkit and if the battery is only 20V?

Ditto.

Been looking for a deal on one of the Dyson since Black Friday but taken the plunge on this and see how it goes.
Looks like you get all of these tools as well as they are in the user guide.

Press the boost button on to increase the suction for particularly dirty areas.

NOTE: The powered head brushbar should be ON for carpets and OFF for hard floors. Constant use of the boost mode and brushbar will reduce the battery run time.

May help you suck them up before anyone else

Ooooo just as I typed that a Silver Jumper one popped up....totally ecstatic as really didn't seem to have much luck with them at all over past couple of days...perhaps being a night tracker is an advantage now
OOS
Seems to be sold out
Yes oos
Managed to get one,

“Newer is Always Better”.... right?
Worked for me, free delivery Saturday
Oos
Just had a look at my Paypal receipt tax £30 on £49.99 Purchase?

Subtotal £49.99 GBP
Tax £30.00 GBP
Total £79.99 GBP
Payment£79.99 GBP
Charge will appear on your credit card statement as 'PAYPAL *VAX LTD'
Payment sent to info@vax.co.uk
Tax would be calculated on the full amount which is shown as £149.99 on the PayPal payment. So 20% of £149.99 rounds up to £30.
Thank god it's OOS - I don't need one but what have felt an overwhelming urge to have one ...
