Beats me why this is going cold. I have checked all the Actifry versions in this offer and with the £100 off code, they cannot be found cheaper elsewhere. I'll vote hot.

Thanks @Magister - yeah it is strange, I suppose there is no pleasing some !!!

We use ours a great deal, great product

thats a decent reduction but still overpriced to be honest.

voted hot though for the price reduction.

This is a brilliant deal - hot hot hot X)

So basically, before the generous discount, this cost near enough £200?! ...for a product designed to appeal to people who like chips but don't want to get fat this is ridiculous!

...just spray your chippies with 1-cal and shove 'em in the oven if you're that bothered!!

even with the £100 off these are cheaper elsewhere

Please let us into the secret.

The chances are that you have a car. The chances are that your car was several times more expensive to buy and to run than this Actifry, with or without the discount. For your (supposed) car, isn't it also ridiculous to pay such a large amount of money for a product designed for people who like to travel but don't want to walk. The point I'm making is that you pays your money, and takes your choice, and if your choice is to buy an Actifry, then this deal lets you buy it cheaper than elsewhere.

...that's the stupidest analogy I've heard in a long time!!! I have to travel 20 miles each way to work and back so walking isn't really an option is it? A better analogy is you can pay £200 (£100) for this piece of MASSIVELY overpriced kit or get a baking sheet from Poundland that will give you a similar result...you still have all the prep to do with either method and you are still using energy for both be it gas or electric. Difference is you'd save 'up to' £199 with option 2 and have less to clean up afterwards!!

...but you know what they say about fools and their money ...Tefal must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Looks like its from the 60's

This is not for cooking chips as some suggest or perceive. Its a good healthy option for chicken etc as well.Good find so heat added!

Thanks, ordered

cant find the 1.2kg one cheaper elsewhere, heat added

The question you should ask yourself before voting is:
'Can I get this product cheaper elsewhere?'

If the answer is yes, vote cold. If the answer is no, vote hot.

After that, feel free to decide whether you a) will find a use for the product in your lifestyle, b) want to part with the money to buy said product and c) whether the product represents value for money based on a & b.

Tefal must also titter all the way to bank when people buy their toasters rather than using a grill. Might use a bit less energy but the price of some toasters... (_;)

Well said. Thanks. Sometimes I wonder if it ever worth sharing a deal as there is so much moaning that goes on.

No worries. I voted hot by the way...!

I would have said hot for a deal like this. unfortunately I ordered one three weeks ago. no sign of it. Happy to take money and not produce the goods. Definitely COLD.

Thanks for the original post. Heat added. Been waiting to see one at a reasonable price and this will do me.....

Is £150 best price for family size?

i would stay away from the family one, the lids don't last long at all

Our current family one has a crack in the lid. Handles also falling off. The hinge on the rim is snapped in half. Plus the thing in middle turns but doesn't lock on any more.

However it's about 4 year old now.

the new ones have a mainly colored lid, they changed the design much stronger now except the family one

bought, thanks for sharing the great deal.

Hot. The 2 in 1 for £179.99 is a superb price compared to all the others I can find.

Why are people moaning about this? If you don't want one, don't buy one! I bought one from here 2 and a half years ago. Use it every day to make healthy chips, which had helped me to lose 5 stone! Don't knock it til you've tried it. The best on the market in my opinion. And a great saving. Would definitely recommend.xx
