Thank you, ordered for my sons 5th birthday in April xx

Thanks have ordered

Thank you, have ordered for my little girl

good find op, heat added

This works alongside other train tracks to extend/add to what you have. My little boy has a large collection of tracking/bits etc and I bought this yesterday to add to his collection. Well built and an excellent buy or the price. Even the RRP is reasonable

Thanks, ordered

When I was looking for it couldn't find a good deal. Ended up being it from Gumtree..

Got my kid this for Xmas, was pleasantly surprised considering the price. Might even buy another set to extend. Bargain!

Looks decent enough have ordered a couple for my 2 nephews upcoming birthdays. Thanks op x

Ordered, thanks.

Thanks ordered

Definitely didn't need to buy that! X)

Thank you!

ordered to supplement the ikea one we got at Xmas. Cheers

Thanks orderd 2

Didn't need it, bought 3, 2 for the nieces and one for me

Only issue is, if the carriages turn over and the train line gets 'Blocked'.

I got this for the lad in the summer for a tenner. It's not good.

The quality is far below brio or bigjigs. If you run a battery powered train on it, the wood doesn't give enough grip for it to work at times. The small curves are cut to different dimensions than most sets and the long blue bridge is frankly a pain in the rear.

Not all the pieces were cut well and the magnets on the trains are so poor that they often won't hold more than their own weight going up a hill. So if you want to make a long train, they have to be placed at the back else they won't hold on.

I won't buy Carousel track again, it's sold cheaply for a reason.

Think they have plenty of these, cracking value if you ask me.

Buying a decent toy for 12quid is not that common

I have a large collection of bigjigs and it works well with it. Not had those problems you describe with automatic trains

Have to agree that this isn't great. Had this set for months and we always use pieces last.

Really good information thank you. We stared with an IKEA set, have since added some bits from Brio and even Wilkos and although never 100% "perfect" the kids don't notice and it's certainly usable

We have this. Its very rickety, nothing like the old wooden train sets where bridges could take a nuke. Good price though, but you'll want to boot the 2 bridges off a cliff.

I found the same. Some joining pieces were rough wood ends with knots. But for the price of a couple of shunt / track ends from brio you can't eclectic too much

Excellent find!!! My son will love this. So much heat!!!!

does this work on batteries ???

I think this should be the new name for hotukdeals

Thanks OP. Heat added.

I have to agree with you here. Low quality and barely worth £11.98.

Getting OOS on this.

got the 150 piece today in oldham, priced at £22 but scans at £12.50
