the only home whitening product that has worked for me are crest strips.
the dentists in the uk got them banned here because they are so good.
if your teeth are american though you can get them on amazon.com

They are banned because the active ingredient is hydrogen peroxide/hair bleach. Same goes for any consumer product that uses this directly for whitening. The cheap Chinese kits use carbamide peroxide and UV light to get around this, as this generates hydrogen peroxide only when the product is used.

There are quite a few other ways of using this to whiten your teeth tbh, cheapest way is probably just to rub your teeth with a cotton bud dipped in the weaker food grade stuff. Just don't swallow any and try to avoid your gums.

Experts have urged caution because of issues like:

Thinning enamel. When you use activated charcoal toothpaste, your teeth may look whiter at first. But after continued use, your teeth may start looking more yellow. If this happens, it’s because the activated charcoal has worn down your enamel and revealed the dentin layer of your teeth.

More surface roughness. In a lab test, researchers found that activated charcoal powder on its own increased the surface roughness of teeth and even changed the enamel surface. The study also showed that activated charcoal powder didn’t whiten teeth.

It’s easier for bacteria to cling to your teeth if the surface area is rough, raising your risk of cavities and gum disease.

Tooth powders are abrasive. In general, tooth powders can be five times more abrasive than toothpastes because of the abrasive materials used, as well as the size of their particles.

Not suitable for children. Dentists say that children especially shouldn’t use activated charcoal toothpastes because they’re too abrasive for developing teeth.

Do not use this rubbish, abrasive and will have a bad impact to your teeth and gums, ask your dentist. So many products out there to fool the gullible with their claims.

The only charcoal you'll find in a dentists is in their pencils which they'll use to write down how much of an idiot you are if you use this on your teeth.
