Perfect for that Sunday afternoon citizen's arrest.
Lovely. now does anyone know where I can get a cheap van from with no windows and a sliding door?
There is enough that you will be able to leave some for your children as part of their inheritance.
Mr Grey will see you now...

Loads in my local store thousands to be precise

"Thousands" is not precise
Who needs 1000? 1000 pieces of single use plastic? In one pack and there were 20 more. Wow.

Might as well just go and attach it directly to a marine animal.

There are re-usable ones with a little snib you can buy - a 'cable-tie for life' if you will, although any of these things will still take thousands of years to degrade and even then will leave micro-plastic particles. What did we used to use before these?

(Not voted btw.)

Wire ties or wax covered string was used to wrap cables. more time consuming to use but when there were apprentices it didn't matter i suppose.

Modern telecoms and IT sometimes use velcro wraps now as they're more forgiving on fibre optic cables and reusable. For outdoors though you need decent UV cable ties.

I don't buy single use cable ties. These have the little snib you mentioned.
Forgot to mention that I am very unlikely to use 1000 ties, but I have three other household with family and will share these with them as needed . I assume others will do the same or even sell them for a significant profit at say a boot sale.

Don't drive, buy food or drink since they're transported by populated trucks from populating factories, vehicles are usually use a lot of Plastics, think of all those micro particles
You stop driving too, using cellphones, computers, TV's, game consoles, in fact don't use electricity at all because oil used for electricity, Oil dumps have also been known to populate waters
No more showers because theyre made from plastic and they may leave microplastics particles in the ocean and let's not forget how much population water treatment/supply facilities does

I work in schools, cable ties are brilliant for doing what their name suggests.

I've already used 700 odd in the last 4 months making sure IT equipment isn't a health and safety risk to children and adults.

Also makes things look much better, an added bonus!
