Wouldn't chance it for a £200 handheld but ok for a £800 phone?

There have been instances with powerbanks bricking switches.

This is mainly because the nintendo switch does not entirely conform to the universal usb c standards like everything else should.
Thus charger has not been officially approved by nintendo. There are two anker ones that have and they work great. I would seriously think twice before plugging in third party non approved chargers into your £200 console as there have been issues reported and instances of consoles being damaged. Ultimately the choice is yours but I don't recommend this charger.

This is cheap for what you are getting. Also small size makes it a good choice for travelling. And I don't know why they mention Nintendo switch, this is perfect for any phone or tablet with a USC-C connection. I am considering grabbing one of these for my S9+. Can't go wrong with more available power lol
Tempted for my switch,.... Are these not recommended though for switch? Going off last comment?
This will charge the Switch, but it won't charge the Switch as well as the proper charger, especially in the dock - the docked Switch needs a charger/powerbank rated for 15V/3A (45W) to work the same as the standard plug.

But an 18W powerbank should allow you to charge whilst you play, extending battery life whilst out and about.

I've got the 20,000mAh RAVPower with PD USB-C output and that works great.
Perfect thanks...
I'm rubbish with Tech...don't know what cable goes with what. Would this work on an galaxy S8 ?

Tyia
Will this power bank charge up faster than a standard power bank with a USB using a quick charge power adapter? i have a 10000mah anker and the quality build is great but takes ages to charge up
No an official switch charger. Do not buy this to use with your nintendo switch!

Never heard of Powerbanks bricking a switch, the old Type C hubs used to If they did must have been a one. I just stick to Anker, Aukey and these.
Power delivery is the standard, if your device is compatible with PD then it should be fine.

These batteries charge macbook pros. The Ugreen 10,000 mah 18w pd battery which is the same spec as this charges my macbook pro. Has more capacity than the macbook battery too.

Re: Nintendo Switch bricking: switchchargers.com/nin…aq/

"Do third party chargers also cause bricking? No. And anyone who tells you otherwise will not be able to provide any proof when asked. Try it.
There are no confirmed reports of third party chargers causing a problem with the Switch."

There was certainly an issue with some docks causing an issue though.
You have it listed as wrong price currently showing as 12.99 on the Amazon app. Also doesn't ship to Northern Ireland as FYI

For eleven squid - grab this.

If you want the one I use and don't mind spending a fair chunk more, this has been awesome:

Nothing in particular. Higher wattage ones are better (not the mAh), but 18W is plenty for most people.
Buy a good brand with 18W PD and it's not going to make much difference.

To be clear: 18W is perfectly suitable for playing while out and about. You wouldn't normally be using this with a dock.
switchchargers.com/how…ks/

"To charge the Switch while playing a game the charger needs to provide more power than is being used. A charger providing 10W will slowly recharge the battery during game play. A charger providing 18W will recharge a Switch from 0-100% in 3.5 hours while playing. A charger providing 7.5W (USB-A) may not keep up with power usage. But it will at least slow down the drain of the Switch’s battery."

Which ones do you have? Have you got a link I could look at please?
Mine arrived at 8pm, charging phone now, very fast! Much quicker than my USB-A Anker 10,800 mah one, pity they didn't supply a cover for it like Anker though, but for the price excellent!

How has it got more capacity than a MacBook Pro? I am surprised an 18W PD power bank will charge a laptop, I couldn't get this to charge an HP Elite X2 1012

Macbook pro has around 7300 mah this has 10000

I am surprised that no battery manufacturer advertises the fact that it can charge a laptop, they claim every other untrue thing under the sun.

It won’t charge it up in 3 seconds while using it but nevertheless it does give you extra power and mac os registers the fact that it is charging with the same symbol on the desktop as if you plugged it in to mains power.

I also charge my macbook with a dell 33w usb c charger.
