I have to disagree here. I usually do Tesco online and never get nearly so many good offers. I had a sainsburys shopping delivered today... not ONE item out of stock or substituted. Everything was there, my bill was £60, £21 less than it would have been without the offers. Also no "almost Use by Date" meat, which Tesco seem great at giving me every time  Excellent deals here!

My fave deals today were two cheap punnets of nectarines, and Original Source stuff half price, yay!! This includes the shower smoothies and the exfoliating wash too!

Totally agree about dates on stuff, had some strawberries recently which were mouldy in 2 days, complained and got a refund & £5 voucher ........which is unusual ;-)

the nectarines and peaches above are the taste the difference range.

the standard nectarines and peaches are £1 a punnet.

The strawberries are £1.99 for a standard pack of 454g, but the taste the difference are the same price at £1.99 for 454g

Granny smith Apples are £1 per pack.

think pimm's is around £13 something now as the £10 offer ended monday

Asda has the suncream at 2 for £10 or 3 for £12.

how is that price on Bertolli any good?

And these are all duly posted.

Thanks to the OP for taking the time to post.

a lil tip, if you find a product cheaper elsewhere if you e-mail it to … a lil tip, if you find a product cheaper elsewhere if you e-mail it to [email protected] they will investigate it and change the price.

That is very useful to know. There seemed to be 80p difference on Dorset cereal when I was last in Sainsburys. Some things are shockingly more.

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up, I do my Sainsburys shop on Wednesday, hope they're still on.

Personally, I have recently switched to Sainsburys from Tesco as their fruit and veg lasted about two days before it went off, not sure if anyone has found this or is it just the Northwich store?

wednesday and monday are two of the best days to go to sainsburys!

on a sunday night they stack the shelves in the "Ambient Section" i.e crips, cereal, long life etc...

and on tuesday nights they do their produce i.e chilled and fresh.

this is for most stores anyway

We were expecting really good deals, but TBH, most of the stuff has been at that price for over 2 weeks, i.e. strawberries, raspberries, prawns 4.99 BOGOF - their wieght is also lower than usual i.e. 180gms. Also worht mentioning, check the wieghts and compare prices!

A great piece of marketing, even though I'm sure there's some good offers somewhere in there.
